00:00Cubs and Tigers in interleague action and a pretty good matchup here I think on the mound but

00:05I mean you look at the Tigers tonight they're just such big favorites because how do you go

00:10against Tariq Skubal he's been the best pitcher in Major League Baseball going on wow like almost

00:15two years now 2.26 earned run average Tigers who don't score a lot total of seven in tonight's game

00:24but wow 198 on the money line here but you know dangerous Danny to take the Tigers on the run line

00:28minus a run and a half they win a lot of close games you're right I mean that's what this Tigers

00:34team is phenomenal pitching and good enough offense to get by now it's a little bit of the opposite

00:40with the Cubs where you have a phenomenal offense and then good enough pitching to get by so what

00:47can Skubal do against this Cubs offense that's obviously the big question here and I think this

00:52is more of a test of what this Cubs team is as opposed to what we think we know or may or may

00:58not know about Detroit because we know how stellar their pitching rotation is with the Cubs offense

01:03yes they've had an incredibly difficult schedule and have still overcome that but even me being a

01:09Chicago Cubs fan I still have reservations about this team I mean we all we know what their bullpen

01:14is or rather isn't and they need to get pieces there but even offensively as dominant as they've been

01:19we've seen this story a lot of times with the Cubbies to then when they just get in this absolute

01:24drought and then they end up disappointing so look I think this is a really big test for them to see

01:29what they are capable of on the offensive side of the ball but I mean in terms of a betting perspective

01:35Craig it's fascinating because like you said I mean yes the Tigers are the rightful favorite you're a

01:40little worried to lay that run line because Brown on the other side for the Cubs pitching does have

01:45potential big frame 6-6 little volatile but he can't produce when need be and then with the Cubs at the

01:52plus money price of anywhere from like plus 150 to plus 160 I mean man seldom are you going to get

01:57them with that type of price especially if they keep playing this way so honestly I'm kind of all

02:02over the place in terms of a side or total I think I'm just going to sit back and watch but I would lean

02:07toward Detroit getting the job done but just don't really see any value in the betting market maybe

02:12there's kind of an area you could go with like a scooble prop under seven and a half K's I know it's

02:17it's pretty high and rightfully so he's earned that right but the Cubs have limited their damage

02:23in terms of strikeouts against lefties I think they're at about a 19 percent K rate against

02:28Southpaws so they could get to him early and limit that damage that may be your best course of action

02:33if you're looking to bet this game by the way you can get four to look at this Dan you can get four

02:38to one on scoble striking out 10 plus batters I mean that's not that's not crazy you know like

02:44he's done that before um seven and a half strikeouts and you know certainly PCA and

02:49Tucker could have something to say about this but those are the prop numbers for school tonight
