00:00What purpose does the gentleman from Virginia seek recognition?
00:03I rise to address the House for up to one minute and extend and revise my remarks.
00:07Without objection, the gentleman is recognized for one minute.
00:11Mr. Speaker, I rise to congratulate BAPS Charities and the BAPS Temple in Chantilly
00:16for hosting its annual walk-a-thon at One Loudoun in Ashburn this past week.
00:21The walk, which I was proud to join, was a huge success and raised money for Mobile Hope,
00:25which serves at-risk youth in Loudoun County.
00:27BAPS Charities is a global charity active across the country and in nine countries,
00:32and its efforts are volunteer-led.
00:34And BAPS Charities aims to express a spirit of selfless service through five key areas,
00:39health awareness, educational services, humanitarian relief, environmental protection,
00:44and preservation and community empowerment.
00:46And events and walks like the one this past week happened all over the country
00:49and make a huge difference.
00:51So congratulations to BAPS Charities on a great event and all its great work.
