00:00Welcome. It's a great honor for the state of Idaho to have one of our cabinet secretaries
00:26that is a big part of President Trump's initiatives from one end to the other.
00:33Obviously, talking about making America healthy again, as we talked earlier, it's kind of in our ethos of Idaho.
00:43Before we had a name to it, you get credit for the name, and I was visiting with the secretary,
00:50and we're talking about the things that we've done in Idaho just last year or two, but even before that,
00:59of what we do to give individuals in Idaho all the liberty and freedom they can possibly have
01:07and still make America healthier and make Idaho healthier.
01:13To me, it's the right thing to do for a person. It's even more the right thing to do for their families,
01:22and I think the president and the secretary have talked about it's a patriotic duty to do for the whole country,
01:31and that's just a big part of it. I know the secretary's going to talk about whether it's our Idaho Medical Freedom Act
01:40or what we're doing in the SNAP area or what we're doing in some of the other things.
01:45So with that, Mr. Secretary.
01:47Thank you very much, Governor.
01:49You know, we had a meeting around some of the government officials before this.
01:56I pointed out something that during the COVID pandemic, 37 hours after he took the oath of office,
02:05just swearing to uphold the Constitution. President Biden commissioned a team within the White House
02:13to begin censoring me and a few of other people. The court documents that we now have,
02:22the disclosures from the Twitter files and from Mark Zuckerberg, show that I was the first one that was censored.
02:30There were thousands of Americans censored at that time, and once they figured out that they could censor Americans,
02:38that they could exact that central fundamental freedom of speech.
02:42The founders put freedom of speech in the first hand because all the other fights depend on it.
02:49If you don't have freedom of speech, freedom to criticize your government and its policies,
02:55you have a government that has that capacity to silence its critics,
03:01has a license for any kind of atrocity.
03:04And they began immediately, when they figured out what we were going to put up with that,
03:08they began attacking the rest of the constitutional guarantees.
03:13They went after the rights to the assembly by the social distancing regulations.
03:20They went after the freedom of worship by closing all the churches in our country.
03:26They kept the liquor stores open, the Walmarts open, as essential businesses.
03:31Closed all the churches in our country without due process.
03:35Closed three and a half million businesses in violation of the Fifth Amendment by guarantees of due process and just compensation.
03:45They violated the search of seizure prohibitions in the Fourth Amendment by the track of trades regulations.
03:54They went after jury charges.
03:58The Seventh Amendment says that every American, no American should be denied the right of a child or jury of his peers.
04:04In case of the controversy exceeding $20 million in value, there's no pandemic exemption.
04:12There were two bad epidemics during the Revolutionary War that almost destroyed the American army of malaria epidemic.
04:23The army of Virginia had a smallpox epidemic in the army of New England.
04:30And they literally beat attack against the entire Constitution.
04:35Most of the states of the country went along with it.
04:39There were two that didn't.
04:40One was Florida.
04:41And the other was Idaho.
04:43But Idaho did better than any other state in preserving those essential American freedoms.
04:49And a lot of that was because of the leadership of government.
04:52I wanted to come out here too.
04:56I've been wanting to come out here since I got the job as a secretary to congratulate him and to thank him for standing up for the American Constitution.
05:06I'm like that in the other state.
05:09And I wanted to get out here in time like I've done in many other states to be with the governor when he signed the SNAP waiver.
05:17And when he signed the bill prohibiting or allowing the prohibition limiting the cell phone use in schools.
05:26But he moved too quickly for me to get out here.
05:30And so I was happy to come out here for this proclamation.
05:35This state, more than any state in the country, stands for not only medical freedom but a healthy population understands.
05:46As the governor said, it's a patriotic duty.
05:48It's a civic duty of every American.
05:50It's our patriotic duty.
05:53Medicaid is now bankrupt in our states.
05:57It's a third of the budget in many states.
06:02And it is growing exponentially.
06:04And the only way to deal with that is by dealing with the chronic health epidemic.
06:09When my uncle was president, 3% of Americans had chronic disease.
06:13Today it's 6 out of 10.
06:16And it's 90% of our medical costs.
06:20My uncle was president.
06:21We spent zero on chronic disease in this country.
06:25Today we spend $1.3 trillion a year.
06:29As I said, it is rising exponentially.
06:32And there's national security issues.
06:35Our 8 out of 10 kids cannot qualify for military service.
06:39We have fertility problems now.
06:46Teenagers in this country, teenage males, have half the sperm count and half the testosterone as 65-year-old men.
06:54American girls are hitting puberty six years early.
06:58Something is wrong.
07:00The odds are raised in 1970, the largest epidemiological study in the history of any country in the world
07:07was performed here in the United States in Wisconsin.
07:11They looked at 900,000 kids and they were looking for autism incidents.
07:15They found three kids.
07:17The rate of autism at that point and many other studies that validated the Wisconsin study
07:24was 0.7 in 10,000, so less than 1 in 10,000.
07:30The numbers that we released a month ago, 1 in 31 kids.
07:36And it's probably much worse than that because they did it state by state,
07:40and a lot of the states don't collect the data very well.
07:43California collects it the best.
07:46And their numbers are 1 in every 19 children, 1 in every 12.5 boys.
07:52Diabetes, when I was a kid, the average pediatrician would see one case of diabetes
08:00during an entire 40 or 50-year career.
08:0438% of teens are pre-diabetic or diabetic.
08:09And so 1 out of every 3 kids, more than 1 out of every 3 kids who walks through this office door
08:14is now pre-diabetic or diabetic.
08:17And this is the biggest cause, and one of the reasons for that is because we're poisoning kids with food stamp program.
08:24So I think it's 18% of the food stamp program goes to candies or sodas, 10% go to sugar sodas.
08:33And so we're poisoning the poorest Americans, giving them diabetes, and then we're paying for it with Medicaid in the long run.
08:39And, you know, we're for freedom.
08:41If you want to drink a Coke, you've got to be able to do it.
08:45But the American taxpayers should not be paying for it.
08:49And we're going to end that system, but we need the governors, and other governors are not following Governor Little's leadership
08:57and applying to Brooke Rollins for staff waivers.
09:03So we're very, very, I'm very honored to be with you, Governor Little,
09:09and I'm very happy to be here in Idaho, which is a home of medical freedom,
09:13a home of good health and has a commitment like no other state,
09:17making its population healthy again.
09:22Thank you, Mr. Secretary.
09:24So with that, I have a, as often we do in this room, I have a proclamation from the Office of the Governor.
09:32Whereas Idaho proudly leads the nation in ushering the Make America Healthy Again movement
09:39through numerous actions that support healthy Idahoans of all ages, especially our children.
09:44And whereas the health and safety and well-being of Idahoans remains a top priority for our state,
09:50ensuring families, communities, and our economy thrives under strong, principled leadership.
09:57And whereas the state of Idaho is thankful for the guidance and leadership of President Trump and his administration
10:02in keeping Idaho communities safe and healthy.
10:06And whereas the state of Idaho has been a national leader in restoring balance to federal nutrition programs
10:13through targeted SNAP waiver.
10:16Whereas executive and legislative action limited cell phone use in Idaho schools reflects a commitment
10:23for our children's academic excellence and character development.
10:27And whereas the state of Idaho remains committed to protecting life, preserving medical freedom,
10:33and ensuring our children are taught with age-appropriate values in schools that respects parental rights
10:40and community standards.
10:42And whereas Idaho has prioritized investments in clean, reliable water infrastructure,
10:48ensuring long-term public health and resource stewardship for generations to come.
10:54And whereas these achievements reflect Idaho's steadfast belief in limited government,
11:00individual liberty, and the essential roles of families and communities in keeping our state strong and free.
11:08Now, therefore, I, Brad Lowe, and Governor of the State of Idaho,
11:11to hereby proclaim August 25 to be Keep Idaho Healthy Month in Idaho.
11:18And I encourage all citizens to recognize this special observance.
