00:00When we think about self-discovery, you've talked about that.
00:03You've talked about just feeling alive in this new project.
00:05I will ask you, is there a word or an adjective that you could use to describe how you're made, how you're wired?
00:14That's a good question.
00:16Who found her?
00:17I guess I would say very intricate.
00:21Intricate because when you think of something that's intricate, it's like it's perplexed, complex.
00:27But it's also kind of handled with care because she's a little sensitive.
00:34There's so many layers.
00:35There's so many facets to her.
00:39There's just so much to me that, like I said before, I feel like I'm even still discovering this new version of Kadia.
00:45And I'm all about growth.
00:47I'm all about forward movement.
00:50I'm all about progress.
00:51That's why being in a space like this is so beautiful.
00:53Yes.
00:53You know, you have women from all facets of life, so many different arenas, so many different spaces coming to this one forum where we can just quarantine each other and share and love on and, you know, peel away the layers and kick back and kiki.
01:10Like these are the things that we need.
01:11And I feel like you don't need to rely on other people to give us these spaces as Black women.
01:17We no longer need permission or validation because we're creating our own spaces.
01:22So shout out to Kim Blackwell and her entire team for creating a space like this.
01:26And for Essence, who's been around for years.
01:29Girl, you bet.
01:30Years and years and years.
01:31He was one of my personal favorites who always creates spaces for us to thrive and grow.
01:37And I think in the intricacies of who I am, being in spaces like this, I'm able to pull a little bit from this one and pull a little bit from that one and pull a little bit.
01:45Like these gems just helps to just make me a better person and a better woman.
