00:00The beauty industry has changed my life, opened my eyes to a world that I didn't
00:09even know existed, and a place where I really feel welcomed and at home.
00:13The most gratified thing about owning my own business is I don't miss a moment.
00:17I don't miss a moment with my family, I don't have to miss a moment with my friends.
00:22One challenge I faced when purchasing my home was getting over the hurdle of fear.
00:26It's very intimidating, but that's just lack of knowledge.
00:29Securing my future looks like to me being in an industry that I'm passionate about,
00:34which is the beauty industry.
00:36This is my starter home, and I'm going to use this as an investment home.
00:39So in the years to come, I would like to lease this out, transition out of corporate America,
00:43go back into entrepreneurship.
00:45Securing my future would be impact.
00:47I could look out on the people around me and they're doing better than when I met them.
00:52When it comes to following their dreams, whether it's the beauty industry or any industry that
00:56you're getting into is to never give up on yourself.
