00:00Good morning. Thank you for being here. My name is Rabbi Mark Soloway, and it is absolutely
00:25astonishing to me that just three days ago in this very spot Jews were literally set on fire in a
00:36targeted anti-Semitic attack on a group of peaceful walkers raising awareness for the 58 hostages dead
00:45and alive still in tunnels in Gaza after more than 600 days. I like many others could have easily been
00:58on the run for their lives walk last Sunday but I wasn't here that horrific day.
01:04Today, the ripples of this trauma are immense. Several of the most badly injured and burned
01:18survivors, some very seriously burned, are members of my congregation, people I've known for over 20
01:25years. Congregation Bona Shalom. And the whole Jewish community is is really shocked that this hideous
01:35hate crime could happen right here in downtown beautiful Boulder, Colorado. And yet, we have
01:45seen this coming. We have seen this coming. And Jews here and all over America and all over the world
01:54have not been feeling safe, not physically safe and not emotionally safe in the face of demonizing hate
02:01speech and dangerous rhetoric. We are so grateful for the outpouring of love and support from our neighbors
02:14and our friends. Elected officials, faith leaders from across the county, the state and the world.
02:24Thank you so much for the beautiful circle right here yesterday, the circle of love and prayer and support.
02:33We felt it. I wasn't able to be here but I felt that love radiating from this space.
02:40And let's be clear, this is not the time for pedantic analysis about the difference between
02:52anti-Zionism and anti-Semitism, nor to talk about the horrors of a war thousands of miles away.
02:58This was a brutal, hateful, anti-Semitic terrorist attack against peaceful Jews in Boulder, Colorado in 2025.
03:17We are really hurting. We are really angry and really sad.
03:23The victims, many of whom are here today, the witnesses, the whole community need a lot of time
03:34to grieve and to heal. But the physical and emotional scars of this will never fully heal.
03:45Demonization of others must stop. The hate speech, including in our city council, must stop.
03:53Thank you so much, Governor Polis, for your leadership and for your friendship
04:08and for gathering us here today. And it is my honor to introduce you, like you need an introduction,
04:14to welcome you to the podium. Thank you. Thank you, Rabbi Boris.
04:17Thank you for joining us today. It was just three days ago, right here, where Jewish community members
04:28from Boulder run for their lives, including Ed Victor, who will share his personal experience,
04:34gathered at this site, as they often do, to shed light on the ongoing humanitarian plight of the 58
04:40hostages still held in Gaza for 607 days. But instead of being met with a normal agreement,
04:48disagreement, conversation, people walking by, they were instead met with targeted,
04:55directed, and anti-Semitic violence in a reprehensible act of terrorism.
05:02I've spoken to some of the victims. I know some of them personally, and we pray for a full
05:06and speedy recovery for all the victims.
05:12And I want to thank Boulder for stepping up, the first responders, the community members,
05:17some of whom were here and intervened to provide emergency assistance,
05:21help to help the injured, to apprehend the suspect. I want to
05:25also thank and acknowledge both city and county officials. This occurred in the city of Boulder,
05:30but on the footsteps of the county building. And that includes our commissioners who were here,
05:36Claire Levy, Marta Lohamine, and Ashley Stoltzman. And of course, the county staff who work
05:41right here in this building, many of whom are here today. This was also, of course,
05:47a traumatic event for them as well. Today, we return here to the site where this occurred to show,
05:53and by deeds and words, that terrorism does not win. We are united as Coloradans,
06:00of all faiths, of all backgrounds, to make it clear that anti-Semitism, that violence and hate
06:06have no home in Colorado. Not today and not ever.
06:15And we are joined by faith leaders, elected officials, law enforcement, community members
06:20standing together. We have so many Republican and Democratic members of our state legislatures.
06:27Senator Matt Ball, Senator Dofna Michelson-Jane, Senator Judy Amabile,
06:32Representative Judy Joseph, Representative Shannon Byrd, Senator Mark Baisley,
06:37Representative Lori Garcia-Sander, Representative Anthony Hartza, Representative Brianna Jatone,
06:42Representative Leslie Smith, and county commissioners from other counties across the state,
06:47Secretary of State Jenna Griswold, Treasurer Dave Young. These are folks who, let's just say,
06:53don't agree on every issue every day of the week. And yet they are here with one voice,
06:59just as we have faith leaders from different faiths saying, acts of terrorism are wrong,
07:05acts of violence are wrong, acts of anti-Semitism are wrong. This heinous terror attack struck just hours
07:12before the start of the Jewish holiday of Shavuot. And of course, less than two weeks on the heels of
07:17the targeted anti-Semitic killings at the Capitol Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C.
07:23And as the scourge of anti-Jewish and anti-Semitic rhetoric and, sadly, violence continues to rear
07:30its ugly head, we want to say enough. Hate, anti-Semitism, terrorism, and violence have no
07:38place in Colorado and no place in the United States of America.
07:46We will not be silenced or scared. We will not let the demons of hate define us.
07:53Jewish tradition shares that a little bit of light can dispel much of the darkness and coming together
07:57in unity and peace, I hope that we are on our part radiating light through the darkness.
08:04You know, there is nothing more American, more cherished than the right to peacefully
08:10make our voices heard. And that means proudly expressing our identities, our beliefs, whatever
08:16they are. And this is a track in many ways struck at the very core of who we are and what we stand for
08:21as Americans, as Coloradans, freedom of expression. It's not lost on me that Run For Our Lives in large
08:28part uses the strength of silence, in and of itself a form of speech, in quiet solidarity to make their
08:35resounding point. Their weekly actions, they begin with the respectful singing of Hatikvah, followed by
08:40a quiet walk, a mostly silent demonstration. And it's that quietness, that form of speech that they choose
08:48to get people's attention that turns people's heads, it makes them notice.
08:51And it should be said that as the attack unfolded, the community, people of many faiths and backgrounds,
08:57including those taking part in the demonstration, and bystanders, I see Lynn here today, I know her
09:03well, she was there. We're all, we're all part of this trauma, regardless of who they were or why they
09:10were there. And we are all here now to say that anti-Semitic attacks are wrong and of no place in Boulder,
09:19Colorado, or in the United States of America.
09:25In our Colorado for all, there's room for everybody, for every faith to live and thrive in communities.
09:32We'll do as we've always done before. We're going to move together with strength and resolve. We're
09:36going to pray for and hope for the full recovery of the victims. We're going to welcome them with
09:42any assistance that they need for themselves or their families. And of course, we're going to make
09:47sure that these acts of terror do not win out. We will continue to proudly express our faith,
09:52whatever it is, our beliefs, our right to safely engage in free speech and free expression for any
09:59opinions that we have in the free country and free state of Colorado. That is the way we do it,
10:05by coming together with respect, with dignity, and in full agreement to denounce acts of violence
10:14and anti-Semitism. And I appreciate and I'm proud that we have people today here of many faiths. And
10:19there would have been more if we had more time. But we have several faith leaders from different
10:25disciplines. We have Republicans and Democrats standing together against hate and anti-Semitism.
10:32Here in Boulder and in Colorado, we are resilient and we will move forward proudly together.
10:40With that, I will turn it over to Reverend Mary-Kate Ray-Juie.
10:44Good morning. I am Mother Mary-Kate Ray-Juie and I serve at St. Aidan's Episcopal Church on Colorado Avenue.
11:02And I am with you today in solidarity as a follower of Jesus to condemn acts of hatred and violence against the Jewish community.
11:14The violence that was threatened, spoken about, planned, and enacted on Sunday afternoon in this very place was and is wrong.
11:30As an Episcopal priest and a leader of a congregation in this community, with many others who gathered in a circle as Rabbi Mark mentioned yesterday here to pray,
11:42We grieve the hurt that was caused the lives and bodies that were injured.
11:51As a follower of Jesus, I also lament and repent the role of the Christian church throughout history in anti-Jewish hatred.
12:01And today we offer prayers for the families of the injured and for the reverberating waves of fear that our Jewish siblings have
12:16when they gather in peace, in synagogues, in public, and in community.
12:25It should not be fearful to gather with your people peacefully.
12:36Right now is a time for grieving and tears, but let us also long for and then live and act for a new hope.
12:46In the shadow and threat of violence, Jesus told his followers to put away the sword.
12:57Let it be so again and again.
12:59We cannot change the past globally or locally.
13:03We live in a broken world and yet every human has choices.
13:07And I appeal to you, choose healing and hope, not hatred or violence in words or in action.
13:21A threat to one faith community is a threat to all.
13:27And the values, the values that we and I love so dearly of pluralism and freedom and of democracy.
13:35We cannot have those threats.
13:37And though we differ in faith and practice, we can be united in our care and attention for each other and for those in need.
13:46We can be faithful together.
13:50A righteousness, the righteousness that faith communities have is neither good nor right unless it extends mercy and care to the marginalized,
14:00the oppressed, the fearful, the old, the young, the stranger, the hungry, and the hurt.
14:09We are each other's neighbors.
14:11And so today, may each of us extend a hand of friendship to our Jewish neighbors and let us stand in solidarity with all people
14:21to build and rebuild communities of trust and human dignity and lasting peace.
14:31It is my honor to introduce Mayor Aaron Brockett.
14:50Good morning, everyone, and thanks so much for joining us.
14:54And I want to thank many of my city council colleagues for joining us here as well.
14:58Sunday on the eve of the Jewish holiday of Shavuot, our community was shaken by an unconscionable act of anti-Semitic terror right here on our beloved Pearl Street Mall.
15:10This was not just an attack on individuals.
15:13It was an assault on the very values that define our city of Boulder.
15:17It was an attack on the Jewish community, an attack on our commitment to peaceful expression, and our shared humanity.
15:23But let me be absolutely clear, Boulder will not be broken by hate.
15:29Today, we stand united against anti-Semitism, against terrorism, and against all forms of hate that seek to divide us.
15:39Our Jewish community in Boulder is woven into the very fabric of who we are as a city.
15:45An attack on any member of our community is an attack on all of us.
15:49And we wish a swift and full recovery to all of the victims.
15:54For generations, our city has been a resilient, innovative, and welcoming community for all.
15:59We are the city that rebuilt after the devastating floods in 2013.
16:03We are the community that came together after a shooter took the lives of 10 community members at King Soopers in 2021.
16:11And again, this week, Boulder has proven that our spirit cannot be shattered by those who choose violence.
16:18In the darkness of Sunday's events, we have already seen the light of Boulder's character shine through.
16:23We saw strangers rushing to help victims, pouring water on burns, offering comfort to the wounded.
16:30We saw first responders, many of whom are with us here again today, who ran toward danger without hesitation.
16:36And we saw a community that refuses to let terror win.
16:42To our vibrant Jewish community, you are not alone.
16:46All of Boulder stands with you, not just today, but every day.
16:50Anti-Semitism has no place in our town.
16:53And hate against any group of people has no place in Boulder.
16:57And we thank you.
16:58And we recognize the historical oppression that has faced the Jewish community for so many centuries.
17:09Your safety is our safety.
17:11Your pain is our pain.
17:13We will not allow this act of terror to silence voices of peace or to discourage peaceful demonstration.
17:19We will not permit hatred to take root in our community.
17:23Instead, we will do what Boulder does best.
17:26We will come together.
17:27We will support one another.
17:29And we will heal together.
17:31The FBI, our police department, and prosecutors at both the state and federal level are working tirelessly to see that justice is served.
17:38And we appreciate those efforts.
17:41In the coming days, we will work with all of our Jewish community leaders, interfaith partners, and all residents to ensure that Boulder remains a place where everyone can live, work, and worship safely.
17:51We will increase security when needed, but we will not sacrifice the openness and accessibility that makes Boulder special.
17:59This moment we will prove that Boulder's strength lies not in our individual voices, but in our chorus, diverse, resilient, and unbreakable.
18:08We will not be defined by one person's act of unspeakable hatred.
18:12We will be defined by how we respond, with compassion, with unity, and with an unwavering commitment to justice and peace.
18:22Boulder does not break.
18:24Boulder does not surrender to violence or fear.
18:27Boulder rises.
18:28And I will now have the honor of introducing Ed Victor from Running Forward Airlines.
18:52Thanks, everybody, for coming out.
18:54I am Ed Victor.
18:56I'm sorry we're all here.
18:57On Sunday, I was here at this place at that time, and that's why I'm speaking to you.
19:05There's no other reason.
19:07I'm not the leader of the organization.
19:08I just happen to be here.
19:10And I thank all the people who have supported me to be here to talk to you.
19:16Run for Your Lives is a peaceful organization.
19:19What's our goal?
19:20To raise awareness that there are still hostages in Gaza, those who are still alive,
19:26and those who are no longer with us.
19:29We've been walking every week since October 7, 2023.
19:33It's what we do.
19:36And as you heard, we do it quietly.
19:39As a community, we are a community like you.
19:43It's someone pushing a stroller.
19:45It's someone in a wheelchair.
19:46It's someone who looks like me.
19:48It's people who are older than me.
19:50It's called 80.
19:51I mean, that's okay.
19:52But we're just a community walking.
19:53On Sunday, it was 30.
19:56Our goal through walking quietly is people notice us.
20:00You can imagine you're on Stanley in Pearl Street Mall, or you're having lunch.
20:04And you're like, what?
20:06And you're seeing a banner, but you're seeing the pictures.
20:08Seeing pictures of people still in Gaza.
20:11Again, both alive and no longer with us.
20:15That's our job.
20:16Just to raise that awareness.
20:17We walk from the west side of the mall, where the mountains are, to the end, to the east.
20:22We come back to the courthouse.
20:26It was a week like every other week.
20:29I'll say, I feel perfectly safe here in Boulder.
20:31I absolutely do.
20:32I'll say, I was wrong, but I absolutely felt safe.
20:35It was a normal, normal day.
20:41On this day, we were gathering.
20:44We were setting up, lining up.
20:46What did we do?
20:48Personal statement, sing two songs, read the names.
20:52That's what we do.
20:55I remember at that time on Sunday, I was looking a little bit towards the mountains,
20:59talking to just a friend, a colleague.
21:01Someone happened to be there on the walk with me that day.
21:05Suddenly, right, I think I heard a crash.
21:10Felt a lot of heat.
21:13And a person is on fire.
21:14A woman is on fire.
21:15I'm saying this because that's what happened.
21:18That's what I saw.
21:19And I'll tell you that my focus got extremely narrow at that time.
21:23I didn't notice anything else.
21:26I was worried about that woman.
21:27And I'll tell you, when someone is on fire, it takes too long to put them out.
21:32Whether it took one minute or two minutes, I don't remember, but I know it took too long.
21:36What do we have to put them out?
21:39You look around.
21:39You're like, there's some flags.
21:41We have a banner.
21:42You do what you can.
21:43It was myself, two, three other people doing what we could.
21:47It can be our body, whatever we could do.
21:49As a community, we gather together.
21:57I feel like I know our Jewish community is strong.
22:01And I'll say that the people who walk, in particular, they're not all Jewish.
22:06It's Jews and non-Jews walking together.
22:09We're supporting each other.
22:11I don't ask who they are.
22:13We're just people.
22:14We're names.
22:14I typically know their first names.
22:16And after this happened, I got a lot of reach out from both my Jewish community and my non-Jewish community.
22:22Jewish community, we temples, the JCC, the people who gather indoors and outdoors, the Boulder community,
22:28the people like you who came here together, the people who are unable to make it here today.
22:33That's who we hear from.
22:36I want to say Boulder is strong.
22:39As a community, we gather together and we uplift.
22:42I feel people's physical presence.
22:44I understand the importance of that.
22:48But I'll also say this was not okay.
22:51It really, really was not okay.
23:02And I'll just say I know we can do more and we must, must do more.
23:45Faith leaders, elected officials and friends.
23:49I'm heartened and I'm touched to have been asked to join with you today.
23:54And to see so many people standing in this place with the Jewish community.
23:59but as I listen to the remarks
24:04and I look around
24:05I have to share
24:08I am angry
24:11I'm angry
24:13I'm angry that someone
24:19violated
24:20the space
24:22and the sanctity
24:23created by some of the most dedicated
24:26and selfless members
24:28of this community
24:29as they were holding a march
24:31as you just heard
24:33for 58 people
24:35who were stolen from us
24:38who remain
24:40in chains and in cages
24:43in tunnels in Gaza
24:46and I'm angry
24:49that a week and a half ago
24:51two young people
24:53walked out of the capital Jewish museum
24:55and they were shot in the back
24:58their bodies were riddled
25:00with 20 bullets
25:02as they were murdered
25:04in cold blood
25:05and I'm angry
25:07that seven weeks ago
25:09Pennsylvania Governor
25:11Josh Shapiro
25:12was woken up
25:13in the middle of the night
25:15by a fire bomb
25:16that was thrown
25:18into the governor's mansion
25:19into the dining room
25:21the same place
25:22where he held
25:22a Passover Seder
25:23earlier that night
25:25so I'm angry
25:29and in the eyes
25:32of the assailants
25:33in all these cases
25:36in Pennsylvania
25:38in Washington
25:39and Colorado
25:40the victims were guilty
25:43of the same crime
25:45one crime
25:48they were Jewish
25:50that's right
25:522025
25:54and their offense
25:56was the fact
25:58that they were Jews
26:00sadly none of this
26:03is surprising
26:04it's entirely
26:06totally
26:07predictable
26:09according to
26:12ADL's tracking
26:13the number of confirmed
26:15anti-Jewish incidents
26:16has surged
26:17in recent years
26:18to heights
26:18we never would have
26:19imagined before
26:20the total spiked
26:22almost 350%
26:24in the past five years
26:26nearly 900%
26:27in the past decade
26:29I'm talking about
26:30acts of harassment
26:31and vandalism
26:32and violence
26:33but you don't need
26:35a math degree
26:37to see where this
26:37trend is heading
26:38just open
26:40your eyes
26:43look at the protesters
26:45on campuses
26:46or in our streets
26:48when they chant
26:49globalize the intifada
26:51or glory to the martyrs
26:53this
26:54is what
26:55it means
26:56when some groups
26:59shout
26:59intifada
26:59is the only solution
27:01or they insist
27:02that they want to
27:05bring
27:06the war
27:07home
27:08this
27:09is what
27:10it means
27:11and when someone
27:13calls into a city council
27:15meeting
27:15and says
27:16Israelis
27:17have no place
27:18in Boulder
27:19and no one speaks out
27:20this is what
27:21it means
27:22so let me be clear
27:32let me be crystal clear
27:35to everyone here today
27:36to everyone watching
27:37words
27:39have meaning
27:41they have
27:43consequences
27:44and indeed
27:46the Jewish people
27:47have learned
27:48a painful lesson
27:49a raw truth
27:52over the centuries
27:54believe
27:58your enemies
28:00take them
28:01at
28:02their word
28:04whether it's
28:05tree of life
28:06or the
28:07capital
28:07Jewish
28:08museum
28:08or the
28:09heap
28:09or cachet
28:10market
28:10in Paris
28:11or Pearl
28:12Street Mall
28:14right here
28:15this place
28:16in Boulder
28:16we know
28:17exactly how
28:18vicious
28:19anti-Jewish
28:20incitement
28:20ends
28:21and I've
28:23got to say
28:24for far
28:26too long
28:27even as
28:28ADL
28:28and others
28:29insisted
28:29that people
28:30in positions
28:31of authority
28:32push back
28:33against the
28:34unending
28:34harassment
28:35and waves
28:36of hate
28:36there were those
28:37in prominent
28:38civil rights
28:39groups
28:39who told me
28:40who told us
28:41it's just
28:44free speech
28:44and so
28:46many college
28:47administrators
28:48explained
28:49it depends
28:52on the
28:52context
28:53and columnists
28:55criticized
28:56our analysis
28:58and insisted
28:59it's just
29:00anti-Zionism
29:01not anti-Semitism
29:02and some
29:05in elected
29:05office
29:06or public
29:07life
29:07had the
29:07audacity
29:08to contend
29:10well this is
29:12what happens
29:12when Israel
29:13does this
29:13or that

29:46I'm sick
29:48of those
29:48who try
29:49to justify
29:50anti-Zionism
29:51I'm sick
29:52of those

33:10thank you
33:14governor
33:14Paul for
33:15bringing us
33:16here today
33:17together
33:18in the
33:21wake of
33:21the terrible
33:22attack that
33:23happened on
33:23Sunday
33:24Sunday
33:24so that
33:27we can
33:27feel each
33:28other's
33:28pain
33:29Rabbi
33:30Mark
33:30I do
33:31feel your
33:31pain
33:32because I
33:33know how
33:33it feels
33:34as a
33:35Muslim
33:36the thoughts
33:39of recovery
33:41and well-being
33:42of the Muslim
33:43community here
33:44in Boulder
33:44and across
33:45Colorado
33:45to the
33:47injured
33:47and their
33:49families
33:49the Muslim
33:50community
33:50here in Boulder
33:51and in Colorado
33:52certainly denounces
33:53the violent hate
33:55crime that
33:55happened on
33:56Sunday
33:56I want to say
34:06that in difficult
34:07times like
34:08this
34:09we need to
34:12seek common
34:13ground
34:13and I'd like
34:16to say
34:17that the
34:18descendants
34:19of Prophet
34:20Abraham
34:21peace and
34:22blessings be
34:22upon him
34:23whether
34:24Arab
34:25or
34:27Hebrew
34:29Jewish
34:30are indeed
34:31Semites
34:32and hence
34:34this attack
34:37is definitely
34:38anti-Semitic
34:39since I
34:52came to
34:52know about
34:53the news
34:53this is
34:55very special
34:56I'm sharing
34:57something that
34:57is very
34:57personal
34:58since I
34:59came to
34:59know about
35:00the news
35:00I kept
35:02recalling
35:03the various
35:05hadith
35:06meaning
35:06sayings of
35:07Prophet Muhammad
35:07peace and
35:08blessings be
35:08upon him
35:09that tell
35:11us a lot
35:12of true
35:13stories
35:13about how
35:15he as a
35:16prophet and
35:16head of
35:17state of
35:18Medina
35:18at that
35:20time dealt
35:21with and
35:22collaborated
35:22with his
35:24Jewish
35:24neighbors
35:24there was
35:26at least
35:27three Jewish
35:28major tribes
35:29in Medina
35:30living at
35:31that time
35:31multi-faith
35:33multicultural
35:33very diverse
35:35society
35:35peace and
35:38blessings be
35:38upon him
35:39married the
35:40daughter of
35:40one of the
35:41chiefs of
35:41one of the
35:42Jewish tribes
35:43Safiyy
35:44and how
35:47he gently
35:47dealt
35:48with his
35:50neighbors
35:51makes me
35:53sure that
35:54is the
35:55Islamic way
35:56of Prophet
35:57Muhammad
35:57peace and
35:58blessings be
35:58upon him
35:59in dealing
36:00with his
36:02Jewish neighbors
36:03that is the
36:04Islamic way
36:04that I
36:05know
36:05that is
36:06the Islamic
36:07way that
36:07Muslims
36:08know
36:08and then I
36:16thought to
36:16myself
36:17if that
36:20person on
36:20Sunday
36:21as
36:24supposedly
36:25named
36:26Muhammad
36:26instead of
36:30holding
36:30flammable
36:31liquids
36:32to throw
36:33on people
36:34if he
36:36perhaps
36:37joined the
36:38walk
36:38engaged in
36:40meaningful
36:41fruitful
36:41conversations
36:42trying to
36:45understand
36:46in order
36:46to be
36:47understood
36:47and maybe
36:50the outcome
36:51of that
36:51will be
36:51that we'll
36:52all be
36:52walking
36:53in this
36:54very beautiful
36:55place
36:56for the
36:58release of
36:58hostages and
36:59prisoners on
37:00both sides
37:01so that people
37:01overseas can
37:03achieve peace
37:04and not war
37:05isn't that
37:05what we all
37:07want
37:07but here
37:15we are
37:16where we
37:16are
37:16and we
37:17stand
37:17where we
37:18stand
37:19right here
37:21where it
37:21happened on
37:22Sunday
37:22and believe
37:24me
37:24ICD
37:25the Stam
37:26Center
37:26of Boulder
37:26have been
37:27receiving
37:28hate messages
37:28as well
37:29and we
37:30had our
37:30share of
37:31hate crime
37:31but that's
37:32not the
37:32time to
37:32speak about
37:33this is
37:34about
37:34the attack
37:35on Sunday
37:35but there
37:38is one
37:38thing
37:38that the
37:41Muslim
37:42community
37:42here in
37:43our precious
37:44Boulder
37:44in our
37:46unique state
37:46of Colorado
37:47and across
37:48our beautiful
37:49country
37:49stand firm
37:50and stand
37:52firm on
37:52and that
37:54is our
37:55Islamic
37:56shared
37:57values
37:58of
37:59neighborliness
38:00these are
38:02also American
38:03values
38:03and I know
38:05for a fact
38:05that they
38:06are Jewish
38:06values
38:07as well
38:07so we
38:09stand firm
38:10with our
38:11neighbors
38:12supporting
38:13them
38:14standing up
38:16for them
38:16in what
38:16is good
38:17whether they
38:18are Jewish
38:18Christian
38:20or Muslim
38:21that is what
38:27we need to
38:28do in order
38:28to come
38:29together
38:29thank you
38:30for your
38:31attention
38:31it is my
38:36pleasure

39:13to stand
39:13with us
39:14today
39:14we gather
39:17this morning
39:18carrying real
39:19pain
39:19yet we are
39:21also filled
39:22with profound
39:23gratitude
39:24since Sunday's
39:26vicious attack
39:27anti-semitic
39:29attack
39:30support
39:31has flooded
39:32our inboxes
39:33our phone lines
39:35and most
39:36importantly
39:36our hearts
39:37in the face
39:39of an act
39:39designed to
39:40tear us
39:40apart
39:41this space
39:43is overflowing
39:43with allies
39:45who have
39:46come together
39:47to stand
39:47with us
39:48refusing to
39:49let hate

40:06most vibrant
40:06Jewish communities
40:07in the
40:08entire
40:08country
40:09this was an
40:11attempt to
40:11unravel
40:12the fabric
40:13of this
40:14community
40:14but we
40:16will be
40:16stronger
40:17together
40:17a few
40:27moments ago
40:28Rabbi Mark
40:30spoke with
40:31clarity
40:31that cut
40:32through
40:33our grief
40:33the hate
40:35speech
40:36must stop
40:37it is
40:42never just
40:43words
40:43as we
40:44saw here
40:45in Boulder
40:45hateful rhetoric
40:46turned into
40:47horrific
40:48violence
40:48silence
40:50therefore

40:51neutral
40:51it is
