00:00I think honestly BRICS has a different agenda I'm not saying that they may not
00:06want to express solidarity I mean that's really not my brief because BRICS will
00:11have a whole delegation coming for BRICS and the invitations are at the
00:15highest level and whoever comes from the government will undoubtedly do their
00:18very best I think to ensure that there is a solid constructive outcome whether
00:23that will include what you're suggesting in terms of a statement about the
00:27terrorist attack I don't know and I don't even know if it's in the draft
00:31they're working on already as far as the other issues you're concerned you know
00:37international forums are not our preoccupation our preoccupation is
00:41honestly our bilateral relationship with Pakistan and Pakistan's complete failure
00:46to dismantle the infrastructure of terrorism in their country this is what
00:52we keep telling our interlocutors if Pakistan is as innocent as they claim to
00:56be why why do they give safe haven to wanted terrorists who are listed on the
01:01designated terrorists by the US government who are on the United Nations
01:041267 committee's wanted list these are people and organizations whose names are
01:10known why do they enjoy safe haven in Pakistan why are they able to live
01:15peacefully to conduct training camps to educate people and radicalize further
01:19people to equip arms and get people to practice their arms and kalashnikovs and so
01:23on on Pakistani soil it is not really a question that the international community
01:28can do much with we have to say to Pakistan we've been saying to Pakistan you get
01:32your act together you crack down on this infrastructure of terrorism that is
01:38visible everywhere in your country then of course we can talk we have so many
01:42languages in common with the Pakistanis we can talk to them in Hindustani we can
01:46talk to them in in Punjabi we can talk to them in English there's no problem in
01:51finding common languages of Pakistan the problem is finding a common vision for
01:55decency for peace we want to be left in peace to grow and develop they don't want
01:59to leave us alone they want to harass us they won't undermine us they want to cut us
02:03this whole bleeding to death India by thousand cuts we're not going to bleed to
02:07death so easily they better forget that idea but I understand you're in an
02:12international trip so it the way the other countries such a Brazil Colombia just been to
02:16Colombia do you feel that the mission was accomplished in Colombia they fully
02:21retracted their statement you know for the Pakistani after the attacks do you
02:27feel that the South America is giving you that you know international
02:31recognition that terrorism is unacceptable absolutely and this has been very
02:35clear and all the countries we've been to Brazil is the fourth country and I
02:39would say in all four countries we've had a very very clear success if that's the
02:43word I don't like to boast of success that's for others to judge but we have
02:47got our message through very clearly including to those who may have had
02:51some misunderstandings and as a result of getting our message through we have
02:55certainly been able in my view to come back feeling that these countries
03:01understand our situation better and express full solidarity with our struggle
03:06against terrorism which is the main purpose of our trip so are you going to
03:09Washington DC which is not a stop it's not a hub it's it's a very important place to
03:15get the message across what is your what are your expectations going in Washington DC for
03:21your next leg of the trip I think my expectations are that it's going to be a
03:25challenging visit we have a lot of a lot of different kinds of audiences we're
03:32addressing we'll be addressing government officials will be addressing senators and
03:37congressmen on the hill we'll be addressing a lot of media we'll be
03:40addressing a lot of think tanks that specialize in international questions so
03:44there's quite a cross-section of people we'll be seeing and talking to and I am
03:49sure judging by some of the information floating around flying around we'll get
03:53some interesting and perhaps challenging questions which we'll be very happy to
03:57answer that's why we're going
