00:00Our delegation is leaving tomorrow morning. I think our delegation is the first delegation to leave to Japan.
00:06Then we will be going to Korea, then Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore.
00:10And the briefing of the Foreign Secretary was explained in the contours of this visit,
00:16the general thrust and also how the members need to conduct themselves.
00:21And we will be interacting with cross-section of people there,
00:26like the principal state actors, ministers, members of the parliament there,
00:31academicians and also the media, think tanks.
00:35So this would be a general meeting which would be set in the background of Indo-Pakistan issues
00:40and the terror that is being exported to India from Pakistan.
00:44And we don't want to get India hyphenated with Pakistan because India is a country
00:50where plurality is there, where diversity is there, there is a buoyant democratic process there.
00:56Unlike Pakistan, which was born as a theocratic state and many of the terrorist organizations have flourished there.
01:04Whereas India always want peace and we want progress and development.
01:09So we want to make sure that the other countries are sensitized about the concerns of our nation.
01:18And one important aspect is that out of these 30 plus countries which are being identified,
01:2415 countries are members of the Security Council and another five countries are going to be members of the Security Council.
01:32And other important countries like Japan, Korea, Indonesia, which are very crucial in this geopolitics.
01:37So the selection of the countries are in such a way that India's concerns need to be reflected at an international forum.
01:44And we feel that these countries can, of course, understand and assimilate the issues being plagued by India.
