00:06It's Dominique Thorne here and it is premiere day!

00:09Come on, who, what, we're.

00:11Let's go on this journey together.

00:13Go.

00:14I think my Getting Ready playlist is probably anything that has some Tina Marie on there.

00:33I do love a good 80s, 90s throwback session.

00:38The music from that time, I feel like all of us here were kind of chatting about it.

00:43It's just so rich.

00:44There's always such a good story being told in those songs.

00:57My favorite part of Getting Ready for an event like this is definitely the creative process

01:05that happens before this moment.

01:07So like working with hair, makeup, styling to sort of put the puzzle pieces together

01:13and really build the look.

01:15Kind of go on that journey of finding pieces, having pieces find you.

01:22It is this beautiful, like sheer, tulle, pink, nude, black dress from Prabhu Garun.

01:32This Asian American designer that I'm super excited to step out in.

01:38I've never seen anything like it.

01:40And I think that the hair, makeup, accessories that we've got going to sort of complement it.

01:47Like they've really come together to make a look.

01:51A look that I'm ready to serve.

01:53A lot of this look just came together out of trust.

01:57Trust and faith and hope.

01:59And extremely talented individuals is what it is.

02:03Trusting good people.

02:04Trusting people who are not only excellent at their job, but who also love what they do.

02:09The dress that we ended up with is literally, I think it was the last dress that we tried on.

02:15We were kind of just like, okay, I think we found our piece.

02:17Like I think we're good to go.

02:19And we were both kind of like, let's just see what this one looks like.

02:23Put it on and we're like, okay, yeah, so this is the dress.

02:25Which is hilarious because we almost didn't try it on.

02:41You've got such a like a strong look that I think it's important to like balance it with like hair and makeup.

02:50That's also pretty like easy and soft and, and yeah, just kind of helps complement it.

03:00Nail color is also very simple.

03:03Bubble bath.

03:05Love her.

03:07Literally never a fail.

03:08But I also just learned, we were talking about this moments ago, that there's this new glazed donut thing going on,

03:14which I did not know about.

03:15But the nail tech was like, oh, do you want to try this?

03:17I said, sure.

03:18Honestly, after we spoke about what the initial idea was, I knocked out.

03:24So I woke up to these beautiful pink bubble bath, but also kind of like iridescent, like oval shaped nails, which are super pretty.

03:37I have like a lip balm addiction.

03:41And then other than some like body moisturizer and my film camera, I think I'm pretty set.

03:51Am I nervous?

03:53Are we nervous?

03:55Let's see.

03:56I'm definitely, I think, intrigued to see what the vibes are going to be.

04:03Definitely a lot of anticipation.

04:06But I don't know about nerves.

04:08There's like this like giddiness, but also like tingling that I'm feeling, but it's definitely more in the direction of excitement, I think.

04:18After tonight, I'm definitely looking forward to the wind down, to the good shower, a good end of day stretch, pre-bed yoga flow.

04:33Riri Williams is this 19 year old super genius who has found herself at MIT.

04:45Definitely overconfident and over comfortable with her experience there.

04:51She's not really looking to be understood, or she's not looking to do anything other than maintain her self-interest.

05:00And it's that sort of comfortability that gets her involved with Wakanda.

05:07Yeah, we can do music.
