00:00All right, so Dodgers dismantle the Yankees.
00:03They win two out of three.
00:03They get the Mets in town.
00:05Mets playing good baseball again, taking care of the Rockies,
00:07and then winning again last night.
00:09So certainly let's give the Mets some credit here.
00:12Built to win this year, no question about it.
00:14They've avoided the injury bug for the most part thus far.
00:17They win in L.A. yesterday,
00:19and I suppose there is some semblance of the thought
00:22that these two teams could face off in the National League Championship Series.
00:27But again, long way to go.
00:28Well, Philly's still very much in the mix
00:30and going to have a lot of other teams as well.
00:32Yeah, I think so.
00:33I don't think there's any question that these are two of the frontrunners
00:37and two teams people are maybe hoping meet again after last year.
00:41And we got the big markets and all those great storylines
00:44that certain people care about and other people despise.
00:47But either way, I mean, we saw last night,
00:49we were treated to a sort of fun, exciting game.
00:53You know, we got some late-inning heroics from Otani,
00:55and then the Mets managed to pull it out.
00:57And, you know, the Dodgers actually got a good start and sort of wasted it,
01:01which for them, given some of their injuries
01:04and some of their other pitching woes, you know,
01:06you feel like you can't waste decent starts from your pitchers.
01:09It wasn't great, but it was decent.
01:10It was good enough.
01:11You like to think the offense is going to carry you home.
01:13Didn't quite do it last night, testament to the Mets pitching.
01:16But, you know, I think it just shows us what we can expect from these teams
01:20and why I think if they do keep playing like they're playing,
01:23you know, we'll see what they do with the deadlines, of course.
01:25But they could meet in the postseason.
01:27I think it'd be a fun series again.
