00:00Hi guys I am back. Today I am going to teach you how to make Chicken Biryani.
00:14My style that is Priyajam style. So let's start doing it.
00:19I will first marinate the chicken. I have taken half a kilo chicken with bones.
00:231 teaspoon garlic paste. 1 teaspoon ginger paste. 1 teaspoon chili paste.
00:364 tablespoons of thick curd. 3 tablespoons of chopped coriander leaves.
00:501 teaspoon garam masala. Salt to taste. 1 quarter teaspoon turmeric powder.
01:042 teaspoon red chilli powder. I will marinate all this into the chicken. I will leave it to rest.
01:18Mix it well with the chicken and leave it to rest for 3 hours.
01:25The chicken is well mixed with all the masalas and I will keep it to rest for 2 hours.
01:35Guys now I will teach you to proceed with the chicken biryani and how to make the chicken gravy first and then the setting of the biryani.
01:42Let's start. Heat the karai. The karai has become nice and hot.
01:49Add in around 3 tablespoons of oil.
01:51The oil has become hot and nice. Now I will add in 2 chopped onions.
02:03The onions have become nice and pink in colour. Now I shall add in 1 tablespoon of cashew nut paste.
02:191 tablespoon of desiccated coconut paste. 1 tablespoon of desiccated coconut paste.
02:28And half a tablespoon of poppy seeds. Fry all of them together.
02:40The kaju paste. The desiccated coconut paste. And the poppy seeds are well fried.
02:49Now I add in 3 chopped tomatoes. And again cook it.
02:56I will cover the karai for 2-3 minutes so that the tomatoes get well cooked.
03:17The tomatoes are really well cooked.
03:21Now we add in the marinated chicken. Mix well.
03:46Guys, I have to give you a tip. The tip is this. In the biryani, I have not used any water.
03:56It's because the chicken has its own water. The dai, the curd also will leave its own water.
04:03And it will cook well in this. If you add additional water, it will become very watery.
04:07And it will take quite some time to settle the water for setting the biryani.
04:12We don't need water in the chicken. So this is a main tip.
04:16Cook it for 10-15 minutes till the chicken is tender.
04:25It's a very good fragrance and aroma of the biryani chicken being cooked.
04:34The chicken is already cooked. And it's become nice and tender.
04:38Now I switch off the gas. And I set the biryani. My rice is already boiled and kept previous prior.
04:59I will make some ghee. I will spread it very well.
05:13Put the first layer of rice. Then I put the second layer of chicken.
05:18I again cover the chicken with rice.
05:35Sprinkle one tablespoon of ghee. Some saffron color.
05:40Some brown onions, caramelized onions. And some chopped coriander leaves.
05:53The setting of the biryani is ready. And now I should put it in the oven to bake at 200 degrees centigrade for at least 25 minutes.
06:03Here the chicken biryani is there. The chicken biryani, the dung biryani is too hot to get it inside.
