00:01I'm Susan Kalman. I've been to some amazing places on cruise ships.
00:07There are two wheels just up ahead.
00:09But this time...
00:10Come on, come on.
00:11I want to take you on some truly unforgettable globe-trotting adventures.
00:15The best cup of tea in the world?
00:16I think so.
00:17These are my bucket list cruises to beat all others.
00:20Ready, me?
00:21Hooray!
00:23To parts of the world you only ever dream about.
00:26That is quite some view, I would say.
00:29Aboard every kind of ship.
00:31Big.
00:32Goes on for miles.
00:33And small.
00:34The captain already to escort me on board.
00:37Personal.
00:38So pack your suitcase and your passport.
00:42And join me sailing the high seas.
00:44Yes!
00:46And you could end up here.
00:47Sort of spiritual, isn't it?
00:49Or here.
00:50The stunning sunset.
00:52Or even here.
00:54Welcome on board my cruise of a lifetime.
00:57Here's the cruise.
00:59This time I'm travelling to Viking country, Norway.
01:09I'm on top of the world.
01:11To discover what draws people to this land of myths and mountains.
01:16The whole thing is mind blowing.
01:18I embrace the great outdoors off the ship.
01:21It's stunning.
01:22It's a mysterious place.
01:23It's a mysterious place.
01:24It's a mysterious place.
01:25It is.
01:26And enjoy the glamour on board.
01:28Are there any chic ones left in the world with the two of us?
01:31Oh, well.
01:32Look at this.
01:33To experience all the magic of the spectacular Norwegian fjords.
01:37It's given me all the feels.
01:40I've boarded ships in some amazing locations.
01:53LA, Tahiti, Manhattan.
01:55But I've never started a cruise so close to home.
01:58I'm in magnificent Liverpool.
01:59My ship is here.
02:00So I better get checked in.
02:05Have you been to Norway before?
02:06I have in the dead of winter.
02:08So this will be different.
02:09Ah, yeah.
02:10The weather will be different.
02:11Yeah.
02:12Is it going to be good?
02:13I hope so.
02:15That's the most...
02:16That's what you see.
02:17This is why I wanted to leave from Liverpool.
02:18Yeah.
02:19Is the weather going to be good?
02:20Yep.
02:24My home for the next week is Boletta.
02:26She's an elegant 238 metres long,
02:29accommodating over 1,300 excited passengers.
02:33She's classed as a smaller ship,
02:35but we all know that size isn't everything.
02:39And while I wait for my luggage to be brought to the cabin,
02:41I've time to check out my home for the next week.
02:45Oh!
02:47How lovely is this?
02:51I can automatically see something that makes my heart sing.
02:55Storage.
02:56I love a cabin with plenty of drawers for my drawers.
03:00And if that wasn't enough...
03:02I've just seen the best thing ever round the corner.
03:05A dressing room with its very own hall of mirrors.
03:09Do you know what?
03:10The reason I love a cruise is you can be many different things in the one day.
03:17This says, Susan, find your glamour.
03:20I can twirl.
03:24While looking at myself.
03:26You look great.
03:27And you look great.
03:28And you look great.
03:29And you look great!
03:30I'll probably also frighten myself at least 20 times when I come out of the bathroom in the middle of the night.
03:36Wondering who the stranger is in my room.
03:38I would like to welcome you all on board the memorial's ballet set.
03:44Before we set sail, I've just enough time to get up on deck and see for myself what it's like to leave from this iconic city.
03:51This is really special.
03:54I've never seen a library building like this before.
03:57I've seen it from down there.
03:59But from up here, you can really get a sense of what thousands of people have seen as they've left Liverpool.
04:05From the port of Liverpool, we sail north to Norway, retracing the roots of the Vikings through the Norwegian fjords.
04:22Starting in the town of Olden.
04:25From there, we head to Orleson and Ondelsnes before arriving at our final destination, Gairanger.
04:31But first, there's one event on any cruise that you don't want to miss no matter where you sail from in the world.
04:43And that is the sail away party.
04:52I love a party.
04:54It's a chance to dance, drink and chat with my new cruise companions.
05:01Hello.
05:04Hello.
05:06How are you all?
05:07Have you sailed from here before?
05:09Yes, several times.
05:11Get off the bus, get on the boat, sail away.
05:13Off the bus and on the boat?
05:15That sounds amazing, it really does.
05:18Cheers, everyone. Here's to a lovely cruise.
05:19Hello. Hi.
05:20As we set sail, it's coats on once more to face the Mersey weather.
05:36Lots of people have come down to deck three, cos that's his off.
05:39Next stop, Norway.
05:42Bye, Liverpool.
05:44Love you.
05:49Coming up.
05:51A pamper session leads to an unexpected proposal.
05:54I do.
05:55And the fjords give me a truly unforgettable welcome.
06:05It's Norwegian Splash Mountain!
06:07Norway is an increasingly popular cruise destination, so I'm getting on board to enjoy the country's fjords and Viking folklore, but before I arrive, I'm feeling a tug from the motherland.
06:34That over there is the Isle of Skye, and it's the last thing we're going to see before we head on to the North Sea and to Norway.
06:45And what a beautiful sight, the mists and the glen.
06:50It's a bit of material to home, but I'll be back soon.
06:53Sailing from Liverpool to the Norwegian coast takes two days, giving me plenty of time to enjoy everything the ship has to offer.
07:05And as tonight is formal night, a rather glamorous affair, I've decided to treat myself to a pre-party pamper.
07:12Confession time. For many years I've been a nail biter, and I don't mean that I leave the room in a cliffhanger. I mean that I bite my nails, right?
07:22And it's a terrible habit. Recently I've managed to overcome it, and as you can see, I've stopped biting my nails.
07:28It is the captain's welcome this evening. I said I wanted to be glamorous, so I'm going to have a manicure.
07:37I'm actually terrified, but we're going to see how it goes.
07:42Why not?
07:44I've got an appointment with Louisa, who's been working as a beautician on cruise ships for over 20 years.
07:52I've never had this done before.
07:55First time ever. This is my first time.
07:57I'm a bit nervous.
07:59No, you don't need to.
08:01Thank you for trusting me for your first manicure.
08:03Oh, no, you're wonderful.
08:05My 23 years experience is now on you.
08:08Let's get painting.
08:09Look at that.
08:12That's nice.
08:14Nice.
08:16So glamorous nails now.
08:18Sexy nails.
08:23Well, that's a cowlman first. Sexy nails.
08:28See what they're paid for?
08:30Pointing.
08:32I'll have that.
08:34Near that much. I'll have those diamonds.
08:36Mm-hmm.
08:38Oh, you're amazing, Jonah.
08:40I'm happy you're happy.
08:42In just half an hour, I've been seduced by the power of having pretty nails.
08:47So hold your bottle of wine later.
08:50My bottle.
08:52Your glasses.
08:54It's going to defeat the purpose of being glamorous.
08:57Glass of champagne, madam, now I've got a bottle.
08:59Oh, dear.
09:01I'm going to put back your ring for you.
09:03Okay.
09:04Where do you put this, this one?
09:06Just on that one there.
09:07I do.
09:09I never thought I'd get married in a kitchen.
09:11Are you happy with that?
09:12Are you happy with that?
09:13I'm very happy.
09:14You are happy.
09:15You are happy.
09:16I think it's absolutely amazing.
09:17You are a superstar.
09:18See you later, my darling.
09:20Bye.
09:22That was a very enjoyable experience.
09:24I mean, it's not really changed me particularly though.
09:26You know.
09:27I'm still me.
09:29Still, you know, acting the way I always have.
09:31Done.
09:32You know.
09:33It's just me a little bit kind of amped up, isn't it?
09:34I mean, it's not going to change how I live every day.
09:38Or anything.
09:40Excuse me.
09:41Excuse me.
09:42It's my lift.
09:44After changing into an outside space,
09:46the most important thing that my kids have done,
09:50you know, it's just me a little bit kind of amped up,
09:52isn't it?
09:53I mean, it's not going to change how I live every day,
09:56or anything.
10:00Excuse me.
10:02It's my lift.
10:03after changing into an outfit glamorous enough to match my nails
10:15i pick up a glass not a bottle of something pink and fizzy to complete my look and it looks like
10:23a few other ladies have opted to sparkle tonight look at you what's going on i'm going to the
10:30ball are there any sequins left in the world with the two of us look at this you look amazing thank
10:36you and the gents are looking dapper too so i'm doing something i like to call kilt spotting
10:42because sometimes on a formal night you see kilts i'm going to say hello where are you from castle
10:48douglas castle douglas surface em and formal night there's only one option for you isn't there
10:53yeah i do because i like to show off well listen you should there's nothing i like more than the
10:59swirl of a kilt as a man walks away from me really it's absolutely delightful if you wouldn't mind
11:04swish away from me see look at the swirl of that kilty and you can't not appreciate that can you
11:11i think i've discovered my new favorite game there's another man in a kilt who's ignoring me
11:18hello hello how are you doing hi i'm all right what's your name jeff well i i have already expressed
11:26my appreciation for the kilts and i would like to thank you for wearing it because i think men look
11:30both handsome and powerful in it oh wow you're made my day nice see you later on i don't know what
11:40the kilt does to me honestly but it makes me go uh you know a little bit oh
11:46with kilts swishing and champagne flowing time is flying as we edge ever closer to our destination
11:55after a final fling it's time for bed as an early start and the Norwegian fjords await
12:05next morning
12:15the ship is buzzing with excitement because we've arrived in Norway
12:24with seemingly endless fjords carved by shifting glaciers Norway's coastline is long enough to wrap
12:33around the world two and a half times we are traveling along nord fjord on the west coast
12:41i've been here before but it was in the winter time and it was pretty much dark
12:46all of the time it was wonderful then but when someone switched the lights on it's absolutely stunning
12:55and as we travel over 60 miles inland to our first stop of olden i'm drinking in this breathtaking landscape
13:10in Norway they've got a phrase called bear with me free loot live which sort of translates as free air
13:18life because they adore being in the great outdoors so on this trip i'm determined to embrace this
13:27norwegian way of life by immersing myself in the many excursions this cruise has to offer
13:33good morning thank you very much indeed and today my traveling companions are friends gary and claire
13:39good morning oh should we get our photograph taken yes right okay cuddling cuddling here we go we're on the red carpet
13:52yeah yeah yeah thank you very much indeed thank you thank you it's like we're on vogue
14:00the tour for me and my new cruise friend starts with a trip to the brixtel glacier that sits on the arm of
14:05the urstedal glacier the largest on mainland europe as we're in norway we've boarded buggies called troll
14:11cars and it's even rumored that trolls live in these mountains so this is your guys first ever cruise
14:17yep yeah first time to norway i mean it's not a bad introduction is it it really isn't it'll do you can
14:24kind of understand where the mix of trolls and those kind of magic and folklore tales come out of this it's
14:32just absolutely mysterious mysterious mysterious place it's a mysterious place it is and i've
14:41snuggled right into you i'm so sorry we've ended up all doing this are we doing right under the water
14:48we're going over the little bridge hold on hold on oh goodness oh my goodness it's not reaching squash
15:07over time the glacier has retreated changing the landscape and giving inspiration to so much norse
15:14mythology what's good about this is there is quite a safe little bit where i can stop and just take it
15:24it's breathtaking it's the most beautiful thing it is isn't it it just makes you feel so small and
15:52insignificant in the universe that this is millions of years old hundreds of meters of deep ice
16:07i came here to see the glacier
16:11but the whole thing is mind-blowing 360 degrees of this place is incredible
16:18waterfalls everywhere but right at the heart of it is the tail of that glacier and it looks like the tail of a
16:31dormant creature that moves and everyone has a different reaction me
16:35it's getting me right here what i'm seeing
16:52the search for myths and magic continues and to take my norwegian adventures to new heights
16:59i need to face my lifelong fear of anything above six foot
17:05does anyone like these cable car things do you know what yeah since we've been on
17:10last time it was the isle of wight this one looks steep like isn't it it does look quite steep doesn't it
17:15yeah yeah in fact this is one of the steepest sky lifts in the world but with my tank full of free
17:23loops live i'm going for it imagine the feeling when i do it that's what you need to do you need to
17:31visualize olympic athletes do that don't they visualize success so i'm visualizing myself at the top
17:37successful that's what i'm going to do visualizing it
17:39opened in 2017 the lowen sky lift travels the 1011 meters to mount hoven summit in just five minutes
17:55i'm sure it looks nice behind me does it look nice behind me yeah does it okay thanks razor
18:01the fjords and the mountains are particularly beautiful at this time of year and also you'll see
18:11just behind me some other norwegian things
18:16specifically this
18:17it is very very beautiful if you're afraid of heads like me sometimes it's good to turn around
18:43well done cattlemen very very pleased with myself look at me looking out the window at stuff
18:58from the top you can join guided hikes skiing trips in the winter and even have a go on a zip
19:03wire i've done a zip wire once my life there's a big crane in glasgow called the finiston crane
19:09and i did a zip wire off it and i was so frightened i was physically sick and they asked me to leave
19:13the area because i was putting people off so i don't think i'll do this but i really want to see
19:18what it's like if you do this you're very brave the two zip wires that span the valley combined to
19:26deliver 220 meters of pure adrenaline you're suspended 1 000 meters above the fjord
19:35i think i'll keep my feet firmly on the ground and enjoy the view
19:50the mountain i'm on just now is called hooven and it is 1011 meters high to put that into perspective
19:57scaffold pike is 978 meters the top of snowdonia is 1085 meters where i currently am is more than three
20:07times the height of the eiffel tower this is officially the highest i have ever been
20:18i'm on top of the world
20:22day one in the fjords didn't disappoint
20:27coming up i continue to throw myself into all things outdoors this is where i embrace
20:35three little slug choo choo
20:38and a spectacular train trip brings out my norwegian alter ego
20:43i'm a mischievous troll that's not a bad thing is it
20:55it's my second day in norway and all the fresh air has put a spring in my step so before we reach the
21:02seaport of orleson i'm ready to explore the 10 passenger decks of this ship
21:11so through here there's a pool and there's a bar and a little cafe you can have lunch in
21:16as well it's got a retractable roof so it can be enjoyed didn't expect to see a bear bum this early
21:23in the holiday
21:26across the decks you'll find a range of restaurants and bars and there's plenty of entertainment too
21:33so this is deck five now deck five is really the hub of the ship this is where a lot of stuff goes on so
21:38over here there's a bit of a race with dolphins happening not real dolphins very important in the
21:44ocean bar it's the socializing hub really that's what it is if you want to have a drink and a chat
21:50this is where you come to
21:51on every ship there are always decks that are off limits to passengers until now so if you all come
22:02down here and i'll meet you all at the bottom i'm joining an exclusive behind the scenes tour of the
22:08crew decks oh you've got a rope barrier that means it's cip that means it's serious we actually are
22:16under the sea now what did you see we're under the sea okay so don't open any windows
22:27our first stop is on deck three and it's a hive of activity we are at provisions so i'm gonna pass
22:34you over to anarchy hello nice to have you all here i'm the one who's provide everything for you
22:41people who are coming on you're in charge of everything yeah everything as we were walking on board
22:45there was a lot of carrots yeah what we have on board for the carrots is 80 to 90 kilos
22:53of carrots yeah exactly how many potatoes potatoes uh basically 250 kilos how many toilet rolls
23:02i think 3 600. i could play this all day and it's fair to say that keeping over 1300 passengers fed
23:10and watered means anarchy has packed a lot more than i could fit into my suitcase i found the carrots guys
23:19guys i find the carrots i just like it because it looks like i've entered a competition to win a year's
23:25worth of carrots and i've won i've never been so excited by the contents of a fridge never mind the
23:34scenery in norway this is pretty spectacular and there's so much more to see so where are we going
23:41to now then we are actually coming up to the crew bar the crew bar our crew bar actually does double up
23:48as the office's mess hi nice to see you it's like a little kind of city underneath yeah it's like a town
23:57everyone gets to know each other next is the laundry where the team have a big job tackling our smalls
24:05we are 24 hours in service so anytime y'all can just click into the laundry we are there for you
24:11i need my pants done yeah within one hour we can do it yeah our trousers all right or something else yeah
24:17it's all impressively efficient and there's no time to get distracted hands off
24:27it's that analogy of the swan isn't it swimming with its legs going underneath the wall sir
24:35for our final stop welcome to the bridge we ascend to the most important area on the ship the bridge
24:43a very good afternoon ladies and gentlemen this is captain michael speaking from the navigation
24:50after this tour i've even more respect for the staff and i'll never look at a carrot in the same way
24:55again thank you very much indeed we've had a lovely time on the tour and thank you to all of you thank
25:02you very much indeed
25:03while i've been busy below deck we've arrived in the picturesque town of orleson
25:15one of the cool things about docking in a port and just walking off the ship is you actually get to
25:20have a really good look at it because often when they're in port they tinker with things and they are
25:26painting stuff and they're cleaning stuff but something that someone actually was telling me
25:31about they plug the ship in here so that whilst it's in dock it's powered by renewable energy
25:39and the engines aren't running which makes it quieter and also better for the environment
25:43there aren't an awful lot of ships that can do it or an awful lot of ports that can do that but when
25:48it's here they take full advantage of it and plug it in you don't see that every day do you
25:58today my quest to embrace norwegian freeloots live continues in a town with a rich viking history
26:08built on a peninsula where the mountains meet the sea orleson provided the perfect place for a viking
26:14settlement and the best way to explore the town is close to the water in a kayak and we're off
26:22my guide is local outdoor enthusiast philip so susa yeah we're now going to go paddling into brosundet
26:31and i uh we just want to show you some beautiful sights along the sound here thank you philip the
26:37extraordinary thing about this jugendsteel is that all the buildings they have their own architecture
26:43their own characteristics in form and shape but also in color they're beautiful aren't they
26:54following a great fire in the early 1900s the town was rebuilt taking inspiration from the popular
27:01art nouveau movement what's it like to actually live somewhere as beautiful as this for me the beauty of
27:10varlacent is you know i like all seasons so during the summer you can enjoy being out along the shore
27:17either fishing kayaking and during the winter you could go out skiing and is that the open sea just
27:25like that's the open sea so we're going out there in a minute but when you paddle out at sea if you go
27:31more uh westerly and you will end up in shetland islands
27:36and if you travel out a little bit further you go to uh the father and then to iceland i've got lunch
27:44back at the ship i don't think we should go that far today since the vikings settled here the town has
27:51been an important trading post on the coast of norway and its main income still comes from the sea
27:57so norway is very much you know a fishing nation and all of a sudden that is the biggest fishing
28:04capital here in norway and we catch everything from cod at sea to mackerel to herring to halibut
28:12but cod is our main catch here
28:16as we head out to the open sea my kayaking skills are put to the test
28:21now this is where i embrace preloads live let's get those shoulders working calm and come on
28:36you're very lucky philip to live in such a beautiful beautiful oh yes oh yes i realize i
28:42i have to pinch myself in my arm at times seeing the town from the water has given me a unique
28:49perspective on it philip thank you so much i've had the best time okay thank you susie i've loved it
28:58and what's more philip has given me the best lesson in free loops live
29:07my cruise around the norwegian fjords departs orleson and heads east to another viking settlement
29:14on dosness from there we'll travel south to the unesco protected fjord of geiringer
29:19one of the things i love best of all about a cruise is that every morning i wake up in a
29:34different place now if i was at home that'd be considered very poor behavior but here
29:39it's exciting what am i going to see what am i going to do what's the weather going to be like
29:43that's one of the most important things because you leave the ship possibly for hours you've got
29:49to be sure about how you're dressed and today i think i've cracked it the perfect combination
29:57sunglasses cagoule light jumper shorts and action trainers ready for the day
30:04morning good morning thank you very much
30:12on doesness is home to the roomsdal's range named some believe after round the old son of king nor
30:19the mythical founder of norway and i've been told there's only one way to explore it
30:27cruising isn't all about sailing you know for example on this holiday i've been on a skylift
30:33a troll car and a kayak and now now i get to go on my favorite mode of transport ever
30:43welcome to the golden train enjoy your ride morning thank you very much indeed oh yes
30:50i've got the golden ticket this isn't just any old train ride oh no opened in 1924 the rauma railway
30:59is described as one of europe's most scenic train journeys welcome on board the golden train all i need
31:08to do is sit back and soak it all in this trip goes to beauty along the way you will experience
31:15the view of all the fantastic nature in the room start we will also have a guide who tells exciting
31:21stories from the area once upon a time there was a rally covered in snow and ice as the sun warm and
31:30the snow melted the most beautiful golden river you can imagine was revealed here trolls live peacefully
31:36lives sleeping by day and engaging harmless mischief by night and the trolls still watch over the golden
31:43treasure through this very day so they say my granny's call me mischievous you're so mischievous susan
31:50and i'd go yeah i am i'm a mischievous troll that's not a bad thing is it
32:01i love the fact we could be traveling through a land where mythical creatures roam
32:06i like walking through this chain because it reminds me of scottish country dancing when you do strip
32:16the willow and you hand off to another partner here we go hello hi it's beautiful isn't it are you enjoying
32:26it yeah it's gorgeous isn't it absolutely gorgeous cameras are clicking everywhere trying to capture the
32:34beauty of this magical place what's that you've got there i've seen what is it 360 video so i've just

32:48onto the goggles vd goggles it's your vr yeah yeah shut up
32:56i'll be on someone's goggles in liverpool
33:04alongside the dramatic scenery the golden train has a history to match it was on this
33:10track that the norwegian army transported the country's gold out of nazi reach
33:18we pass a 380 meter waterfall vermifossen towards the iconic schilling bridge which starred in the
33:26action movie mission impossible
33:32i can see why this train journey claims to be one of the best in the world
33:40it is absolutely stunning
33:55it comes towards you in a way that makes you appreciate just how gigantic this place actually is
34:01this incredible voyage brings together everything that makes norway so special in a single
34:12breathtaking package that is one of the top train journeys i've ever experienced in my life and
34:19i definitely got the golden ticket when i got on board
34:26after traveling through a valley i've been inspired to scale one of the highest peaks
34:35so after facing my fear of heights on the sky lift i'm prepared to do it again
34:39the ship looks like a little toy boat in a bath
34:45i'm ascending 708 meters to the top of mountaineer satchel to get a better view of this spectacular
34:52part of the world it's lovely isn't it oh yeah it's gorgeous amazing that's a glaciated valley
35:01that's a glaciated valley yes how'd you know that i've got a geography a level sorry
35:09have you been waiting all your life to show off about it she went to a geology lecture on the boat
35:14that is extraordinary though isn't it it sounds fabulous and once we reach the summit the views get even
35:22better
35:39this is the moment i sort of get it about norway
35:47because as you come out of the gondola and you walk down the steps
35:52this just opens up in front of you it's astonishing it's one of these places that
36:00you really have to come to to believe it exists so otherwise you'll think that we've made this up
36:05we haven't made this up this is just sort of spiritual isn't it you know gives you that sort of
36:14that feeling i don't know what that feeling is but i've got it it's given me all the feels
36:22i think i understand the free looks live now because actually i don't think it's just about getting
36:33outside it's a state of mind that's peaceful tranquil and appreciative and i'm feeling absolutely just
36:43brilliant
36:52coming up we reach a unesco protected fjord where the waterfalls reveal their own dark secret
37:01and there's a modern take on norwegian marriage myths and legends
37:05don't ask a succession of sisters to marry depends what order they were in
37:10if i was asked first then i wouldn't lie
37:19we've arrived at our last port in viking country guy ringer home to one of only two
37:24unesco protected fjords in norway i'm always careful on a gangway only 250 people live in the tiny
37:32village year round but today me and sisters izzy and lotty join over 400 000 cruise passengers who
37:38visit the fjord this year hi hi nice to meet you nice to meet you too my darling on the back here
37:46no swimming please no swimming never swimming hello hi i've booked a special trip with local guide
37:55thomas to explore the hugely popular fjord thanks to its sheer scale and staggering beauty
38:04who are you on holiday with it says 13 of us and so yeah big group headed by granny who's at the top
38:12and how has it worked out for you because i can only imagine if all of my extended family went to
38:17me it would be an interesting thing it's been okay we haven't had any any arguments but that is because
38:25the cruise has allowed us to segway into different areas of the ship and offboard as well who do you
38:33think has embraced the clues most of all well i went to the pianist flautis concert alone at 4 pm so i
38:41think it's me no i think it's me because i've spent a lot of time in the puzzle room oh yeah it's my
38:48guilty pleasure i love we're tapping into the activity on my own i just love the idea of you
38:57doing your puzzle and you going oh there's a floor to start at four guys if anyone wants to come to
39:02no one joined me what's ever just sat there and they're family what's happening guys who's coming
39:09have you been to norway before i should have we have when we were little oh we're about one and
39:14three one and three why don't you have better memories of it but looking at the views opening up
39:21before us i think this is a memory none of us will forget wow see that's exciting it's like something
39:29from the lost world or something and on the right there's one of the waterfalls incredible it's beautiful
39:39the star attraction of the fjord is a cluster of waterfalls that have inspired many a legend
39:58if you can count five or nine with seven sisters we don't change the name right yeah okay
40:04one two three a little sister in the middle four five six seven yes it's an extraordinary sight isn't
40:16it yeah the number seven is the magic number in the all the fairy tales yeah yeah okay they were formed
40:24by snow and ice melting in this valley but the legend of these majestic waterfalls tells a very different
40:32story i read somewhere that the seven sisters are dancing for a suitor that's across here is that
40:42right i don't think that they they dance so much for him because the story i have heard that is the
40:48suitor he was asking all of the seven sisters to marry him one by one but one by one they also turn him
40:55down so then he gets very depressed oh so he started to drink right and that is why you can see this big
41:04black bottle inside of the waterfall oh i see it i see it that is a great story yeah i mean my advice for
41:14any men watching is don't ask a succession of sisters to marry i mean how would you feel
41:18the waterfalls are absolutely spectacular in the sunlight they are glinting it's like
41:36diamond curtains dripping down the sides of the mountain
41:40i can't think of a more appropriate place for my curtain call in norway than this incredibly beautiful
41:54place
42:02the myths and legends that surround all the wonderful places i visited just add to the magic and i've been
42:09spellbound before i head to my next cruise there's just time to say goodbye and thanks for all the free
42:16loots live oh it's like i'm a local now bye see you later
42:25next time on my cruise of a lifetime i'm off on a caribbean adventure on a stunning super yacht

42:42island bar you look like you give the best hugs i've ever seen in my entire life
