00:00I think the fight of terrorism is a global challenge and a common challenge that EU and

00:04India is facing.

00:06So this is certainly something where there are new forms of terrorism that we need to

00:13be able to detect and address, whether it's in the cyberspace, whether it's use of new

00:23means, what we call hybrid warfare, like the use of drones, commercial drones by terrorists,

00:30all these kind of activities.

00:32Clearly, there is one game changer, which is the FTA.

00:35And I think both sides, the leaders of two sides have said, we need to have a substantial

00:40FTA agreed by the end of the year.

00:42And I think both sides are really working hard to get there.

00:46And technology, technology is also an area where we have a trade and technology council

00:51between EU and India.

00:52And indeed, the third one would be security and defense cooperation, which is really an

00:59area where we recognize that we have overlapping interest in deepening that cooperation.

01:04Indian Navy is a referent actor in the region for ensuring maritime security.

01:09We recognize that Indian Navy is contributing at a very high level in ensuring maritime security.

01:18But we are really looking forward to enhance our coordination and cooperation with the Indian

01:24Navy to get our goals and to ensure maritime security.
