Australian warship docks in Indonesian port for joint military exercises
An Australian warship docked in Indonesia's Banyuwangi on Sunday, November 10, ahead of a joint military exercise between the two countries that will take place on November 13-16 and involve about 2,000 personnel.
The joint military exercise, named Keris Woomera 2024, began in Australia's Darwin on November 3 and is the 'largest combined joint activity in recent history' between the two countries, according to Australia's government website.
The exercises are part of the Indo-Pacific Endeavour 2024 series, which is an exhibition of Australia's military diplomacy in establishing regional relations.
