00:00I think it's a very proud moment. I think when we first had the idea to set up us there, we didn't expect that we were going to maybe get to this point and grow.
00:08We're starting to see growth now with recruited volunteers and it's an amazing feeling.
00:12I think it's lovely to see just the support already. People who are coming to find out what we've done, coming to kind of celebrate with us in terms of the projects we've been running.
00:22It's just absolutely amazing.
00:23I think South Tyneside is quite a small borough and lots of people know each other that offer support with each other. So they're kind of like, you know, oh, hello, you know, how's it going?
00:32The connection that you see and the support for search is just amazing.
00:37I mean, we've been able to run as far as we have really with the support of sponsors and grand funders and they have come along today to support us in our journey.
00:45So it's lovely, it's a lovely feeling.
00:48We want to stay as a grassroots service. We want to stay connected to our local people and our local young people.
00:54I think our volunteers have come on board now, so hopefully we'll be able to expand and offer more.
00:59But we definitely want to stay true to who we are. We're a specialist service and we support young people and parents who have experienced abuse.
01:06And we want to make sure that we maintain that specialism.
01:10Yeah, we're creating a brand really, you know, a search. When we looked at the logo, it was something we just discussed together.
01:16But it's become a brand and it's a brand that's separating us from other people locally in terms of our specialist offer.
01:22And it's something we want to continue to push forward.
01:24Just to thank everyone for, you know, supporting us. We met with some of our sponsors last week because they couldn't make the day.
01:30So we didn't want them to feel disconnected because they were at work.
01:33And just for everyone who's come along today, people who have supported us in terms of, we've had the balloons donated, we've had refreshments donated.
01:40You know, the reach of support's massive. So we just want to thank everyone that has supported us and continues to support us.
01:46And I think not to forget we're young people, you know, if it wasn't for the young people having trust and confidence in what we do and reaching out for support,
01:53we wouldn't even be able to exist anyway. So to thank the younger people that have come to us there as well.
