00:00A nine-year-old girl and her father were killed after their car plunged into a ravine near Kampung
00:07Kwong Sai in Segamat on Wednesday. Bandar Baru Segamat Fire and Rescue Station Operation Commander
00:14Zainal Abidin Chederaman said the department received a distress call about the incident
00:19at around 6.47 p.m. Upon arrival, rescue teams found that the vehicle had skidded off the road
00:27and fallen into a ravine. Three injured victims managed to escape the car before help arrived
00:33and were rushed to the hospital. Two victims, a 39-year-old man, Mohamed Fitri Madsaid, and his
00:40young daughter, Nourin Inshira, were pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.
00:45Firefighters then used specialized equipment, such as a hydraulic ramp, to stabilize the vehicle and
00:51extricate the victim. The bodies have been handed over to the police for further investigation.
