A father and son were burnt to death after their trailer crashed into another lorry on the North-South Expressway near Tapah on Tuesday (March 18).

00:00A father and son were burnt to death after their trailer crashed into another lorry on
00:06the North-South Expressway near Tapa on Tuesday.
00:10The Perak Fire and Rescue Department said they received a distress call at 7.46am on
00:16the incident that happened along the 331.8km of the North-South Expressway.
00:22They said the sand-laden trailer rammed into the back of the lorry which was transporting
00:27wool and the impact led to a fire.
00:29They said the victims were the trailer driver in his 40s and his son in his 20s, both perished
00:35at the scene.
00:36The driver was found burnt to death while his son was trapped beneath the wreckage and
00:40also suffered fatal burns.
00:43The firefighting operation had ended with both bodies being removed from the wreckage.
00:48Authorities said the cause of the crash is under investigation.
