A 20-year-old man was killed after his motorcycle crashed into a vehicle that made a sudden lane change at Jalan Lingkaran Dalam, Johor Baru on Saturday (July 6) afternoon.

00:00A 20-year-old man was killed after his motorcycle crashed into a vehicle that made a sudden
00:07lane change at Jalan Lingkaran Dalam.
00:10Johor Bahru South OCPD Assistant Commissioner Rob Selamat said the incident occurred on
00:16Saturday afternoon.
00:18It is learnt a 40-year-old courier who was driving from Skudai towards Permas Jaya made
00:24a sudden change from left to right lane before crashing into the victim.
00:28The impact caused the victim to be flung to the left side of the road.
00:32ACP Raub said the victim suffered a serious head injury and was pronounced dead at the
00:38scene.
00:39The car driver was unharmed and tested negative for drugs and is currently under remand for
00:44four days.
00:45The case is being investigated under Section 41, Subsection 1 of the Road Transport Act
00:511987 for causing death due to reckless or dangerous driving.
