00:00we are continuing the countdown the top 20 notre dame football players

00:03entering the 2025 college football season let's hit number 15 through 11 next

00:09ryan roberts from a to z sports breaking down everything notre dame football folks we began

00:16on the channel the top 20 countdown for the best notre dame football players entering the 2025

00:23season if you missed the first show we broke down number 20 through 16 make sure to go back to the

00:28channel on last week's video a couple interesting surprises and uh you know a couple couple players

00:35that notre dame fans weren't incredibly happy with whether i had them too high or too low but

00:40regardless we're going to continue the countdown here today we're going to start with number 15

00:45where i have rated who i expect to be a huge breakout in 2025 and potentially end up higher

00:50on this list sophomore linebacker kingston villiamo asa on a very deep linebacker room that includes

00:58drake bowen jayden osbury jalen sneed and of course jack kaiser last season kingston still managed

01:04to make his impact known both as a true inside linebacker as well as rushing off the edge now

01:09he was banged up for a couple games down the stretch of the season but when healthy he is arguably the

01:14most versatile player that notre dame has on their defensive side of the football and i expect him

01:19to make a huge jump in his sophomore year the california native has a lot of upside to

01:25potentially impact the defense on several different ways and wear several different hats in 2025 number

01:3014 i have included jordan fazan wide receiver maybe a little bit of a interesting one or a debatable one

01:37on this list i know some people are going to have jordan a little bit lower but i really kind of just

01:41flashback the last offseason when jordan fazan was healthy coming into the season we saw it early on

01:46against texas a&m i expected him to have a huge season now unfortunately jordan was banged up

01:51throughout the year with an ankle injury but we saw when he was healthy and fully himself he was

01:56a very integral part of the notre dame offense and i think now with a lot of attention going to

02:02malachi fields and the boundary a lot of attention going to jaden greathouse for what he did his last

02:06two games of the season i think jordan fazan has a chance to be an x factor in the notre dame offense

02:11heading into the 2025 season a player that i'm very excited about if he's able to stay healthy

02:17coming in at number 13 i have jaden osbury star linebacker who came off of a really good

02:22first year of of legit playing time played a lot of special teams two years ago but this past year

02:28he was a part of that deep linebacker rotation but he made his impact felt six and a half tackles for

02:33loss over 50 tackles if you do his production per snap and you put it upon maybe more of a jack kaiser

02:42type of outlook as far as the total number of snaps he would have had about 80 total tackles

02:47and actually a little bit more and about 10 tackles for loss last season so he was very productive in

02:52the snaps that he got i expect him to be a player that rotates between will and rover maybe even some

02:57mike in certain situations and obvious passing situations and i expect that we see another huge

03:04jump for jay nosbury in 2025 coming in at number 12 christian gray star cornerback

03:11now the best of christian gray is a top 10 player on notre dame's team top 10 absolutely

03:17but just overall talent the unfortunate part is for every great play that christian had last year

03:22he did have some up and down games obviously we look at the usc game for instance as one

03:27that was just kind of the best of christian gray and the worst of christian gray all rolled into one

03:32if he's able to be a more consistent version of himself along with star cornerback leonard moore

03:36i think notre dame has a chance to have the best cornerback duo in all of college football

03:40coming in at number 11 one of the unsung heroes on this team from this past year emil wagner

03:45starting right tackle the only offensive lineman for notre dame that started every single football

03:51game from texas a&m till the national championship game against the ohio state buckeyes six foot six

03:57291 pounds the one thing that is just kind of still holding emil wagner a little bit back from

04:03being one of the better offensive linemen in all of college football is the weights now 291 pounds

04:08now in his fourth year on the team i'm hoping that he takes another physical jump because the

04:13talent is there he's very good athlete he's very consistent player can he become go from consistent

04:18to dominant in 2025 that's the next potential ascension for emil wagner folks let me know what
