00:00Motor was obsessed with Maisie from the instant I brought her home.

00:03I'd take Maisie for walks and Motor would be behind us on the street trying to come along.

00:09Maisie and Motor's relationship was complete best friends.

00:16When it got to the point where it was her time,

00:19it was one of those things where you're like,

00:21this is going to be like completely life-changing.

00:24And I was actually quite worried how he would handle it because he was so bonded.

00:30After Maisie passed, there was an overall sadness to him.

00:38It was heartbreaking.

00:40He stopped greeting me when I came home.

00:42And you can just tell that he was a little bit lost without his best friend.

00:47They brought her out and I remember being like, oh my god, she's perfect.

00:51My concerns were how she would be with cats.

00:54When I brought her home, he walked by her and she didn't even look up.

00:58Motor was very guarded initially, but then he was cuddling Lottie within four days.

01:06He was teaching her how to groom him about three weeks later.

01:11She wasn't even sure what to make of him, but she knew that the motivation was love.

01:16Within a month of Lottie being home, he seemed to get his spark back.

01:22And it was almost as if Maisie told Lottie,

01:24I'm sending you to take care of my best friend.

01:27I can often find Lottie and Motor together outside sunbathing or birdwatching.

01:33And almost every morning, I wake up to see them in some sort of like contorted pile.

01:38Well, she's so much like young Maisie, it's almost creepy.

01:44Maisie was absolutely perfect.

01:46She was the purest soul I've ever come across.

01:51I mean, we had actual conversations.

01:57I have no other explanation other than Maisie sent her.

02:01Lottie is exactly what all of us needed.

02:04Watching the two of them together definitely helped heal my heart.
