Full-grown pittie gets stuck in a car engine! Our producer anita_thedodo found out how that happened and the adorable way she found her new family!

00:17I've been a producer at The Dodo for eight years

00:20and I have never seen a dog being stuck in a car before.

00:23I've seen kittens, a hawk, but not a dog.

00:27So when this story came across my feed

00:29I had so many questions.

00:31So I reached out immediately to find out.

00:34Tell me what happened.

00:35How did the dog get there?

00:36We got a call from the homeowner of the car that Nova was found in.

00:40The owner of the car heard a dog barking right outside his home.

00:44So he went outside to see what was happening.

00:47That's when he found out this dog stuck inside his car engine.

00:50So he went back inside to check the security camera footage.

00:54What he found out is that this dog had got stuck

00:57while chasing a cat under his car.

01:34and found out she used to belong to someone.

01:44The shelter volunteers were determined to make everyone fall in love with her

01:48in hopes of helping her find a forever home.

01:54So they took her out on a field trip

01:56where she'd be able to interact with lots of people.

02:38So her volunteer decided to go treat her with a pappuccino.
