This tiny pittie was too scared to walk — until her foster siblings turned her into a wild child

00:04Pop-Tart was found as a tiny, terrified little thing.

00:06Come on, good girl.

00:08She wouldn't even walk.

00:09Come on, little girl.

00:10It was heartbreaking to watch.

00:12Good girl, yeah.

00:17Nice job, you got it.

00:20Good girl.

00:21Oh, no, no, no, no, not back up.

00:25You could tell that she really wanted to be loved,

00:27but she was just so scared to approach me.

00:30Oh, honey.

00:32I have two big dogs take a long time

00:34to make friends with other dogs, especially for my dog, Bub,

00:37who's had a lot of trauma with other dogs in his past.

00:39Oh, sweet, sweetie.

00:43So whenever we have fosters, I keep

00:45them completely separate from my dogs,

00:46just for everybody's safety.

00:49So I was shocked when Pop-Tart first

00:51started to get brave and come out of her crate.

00:54I would find her hiding in the room with my dogs

00:56while they were in their crate.

01:00Surprisingly, they didn't care at all.

01:03Normally, they would bark and act all scary.

01:05Oh, my goodness.

01:10But with Pop-Tart, they were completely calm.

01:18Bub let his guard down.

01:19I had to help her see that the world wasn't such a scary

01:21place.

01:22What's going on?

01:25I didn't want to rush things and go too fast.

01:27We took things slow.

01:31Oh, my goodness.

01:33We started to do pack walks together, where we

01:38would walk close to each other.

01:39Good job, you two.

01:45Once Pop-Tart started getting more comfortable

01:48and being around my dogs, she started opening up

01:49with people more, too.

01:55Oh.

02:04After about three weeks of this,

02:05I could just see something was different in Bub.

02:08His body language was loose.

02:09He was wagging his tail.

02:10Were you going to play, Bubba?

02:12Good job, you guys.

02:14Let the dogs drift a little bit closer together.

02:16Super sniff, Bubba.

02:17What do you think?

02:19Good boy.

02:21And then from that day on, it was instant best friend.

02:26Pop-Tart was so happy.

02:31It was just so amazing to watch my complicated little boy

02:34truly get to be just a carefree, fun-loving dog

02:37because of this tiny little stray

02:39that had come into our lives.

02:46She just turned into a little wild child.

02:56Come here.

02:58All she wanted to do was just be in my lap and give kisses

03:01and just express her happiness at this new life of hers.

03:07Little T-Rex.

03:11I was fully in love with Pop-Tart,

03:13but as a foster, I knew that my job

03:15was to help get her ready to find her forever home

03:17so then she could move on and I could be

03:19open to help other dogs in need.

03:21This is Pop-Tart.

03:22I cried like a baby when it was time

03:24to say goodbye to her.

03:31We knew she would thrive being with another dog that

03:33could help her confidence.

03:34She has a new pity sister that she's absolutely in love with.

03:38It makes me so happy to see her in a forever home.

03:41To see Pop-Tart from where she was in the beginning

03:43and then to see her now, it's just

03:45the best feeling in the world.

03:46Woof, woof, woof.

03:47Woof, woof, woof.

03:49Woof.

03:50Oh my goodness.
