Sad Pittie Left In A Plum Box Is Such A Happy Boy Now

00:00Officers found him just holed up in this little plum box.

00:04Will he let you pet him?

00:06Oh yeah, yeah.

00:07He was just so sad.

00:08I mean, we just wanted to hug him and make him feel better and let him know he was safe.

00:14We set up a nice crate with a fluffy bed and some treats and left the door open hoping he would go in it on his own.

00:23Look at that tail. Look at that tail wag.

00:27He was limping. He had a leg injury of some sort.

00:31Eventually, once he felt connected to a few of the employees, he started exploring the area.

00:38He bonded with our employees quickly.

00:44We wanted him to have his happily ever after.

00:46And so we started posting about him and it was just a month later that his adopter came and we took him off his feet.

00:55Our first encounter was actually him coming here and met our other dog.

00:59She doesn't always love other dogs, so we were a little worried.

01:02But she seemed to take to him pretty quickly and it seemed like a really good fit.

01:06I didn't realize from the time that I saw him when he was still kind of like a small scrawny puppy to the time I picked him up.

01:12Probably put on a good like 20 pounds.

01:15He is the sweetest dog we've ever had.

01:19He had what looked like an old soul.

01:22Something that just kind of stuck out that brought our attention to him.

01:26Just a very, very happy boy despite how he started off.
