00:00I think I want to act and she said, amazing, do it, it's very hard work.
00:08We have a different way of working and I can't speak to the details of how it is that she worked.
00:14I did not grow up on a film set, I really didn't.
00:17I can count on both hands the amount of times that I went to set as a kid and I don't really remember them.
00:22And when I decided that I wanted to do this as a job, I really came to that decision on my own.
00:29I didn't have any influences over what I wanted to do.
00:35I had discovered my love of film on my own, completely separately.
00:38I have very different love, favourite films than I'm sure that she does.
00:43I actually don't even know what her favourite film is.
00:46But when I told her that I wanted to do, that I was thinking, yeah, I'd quite like to do acting.
00:52I was quite young, I think I was about 10.
00:54And I remember she said, oh, I thought you wanted to be a marine biologist.
00:58You don't want to do that now.
01:00I said, no, I think I want to act.
01:01And she said, amazing, do it.
01:04It's very hard work.
01:06And yeah, it is.
01:08And I'm really grateful that the order of things has happened in that way
01:11because it means that all of my experiences are mine and I've never had them.
01:16And I'm learning lessons that I've never been taught and that I'm learning for the first time.
01:20And I'm understanding this on my own, which is amazing.
