00:00The President of Russia, as was reported before, had a special meeting devoted to the preparations
00:08of our delegation, the negotiations in Istanbul. The negotiation included the heads of the Security
00:15Council of the Russian Federation, the government of the Russian Federation, the Defense Minister,
00:20Head of Chiefs of Staff, and Head of State Security, Intelligence, and Commander of all the groups
00:30of the Russian Armed Forces taking part in the Special Military Operation. The meeting was also
00:39attended by the members of this delegation. The session focused on the international agenda,
00:47matters of national security, the state's economy, and the defense industry. The Minister of Defense
00:57and Head of Chiefs of Staff and commanders of all army groups in the Special Military Operation
01:03reported on the current situation on a battle line, and then a detailed joint discussion took place.
01:12After the reports of all the members of the meeting, the President assigned goals and determined
01:21our negotiations position for this meeting in Istanbul. We view these talks as the continuation
01:27of the peace process in Istanbul, which sadly was broken by the Ukrainian class three years ago.
01:34Our official delegation, this membership has been decreed by the President of the Russian Federation,
01:41and we have all the mandates and competences to conduct the negotiations. We are committed to finding possible
01:54ways of resolution and common grounds. The goal of our direct negotiations with the Ukrainian side is sooner or
02:09later to arrive at lasting peace by eliminating the core reasons of the conflict. Thank you.
