00:00On cartels. Well, Donald Trump and our Republican friends love to talk about
00:05border security, how they're tough on border security, more than just about
00:11anything else. So you can imagine our surprise to read that President Trump is
00:17making deals with drug cartels, Il Chapo, to be precise, to come into our country.
00:24Amazing. This week, it's hard to believe you can't make this stuff up.
00:30Reports came out that Donald Trump made a deal to allow 17 relatives of El Chapo.
00:35That's right, El Chapo, a dangerous, murderous, notorious drug lord in U.S. custody
00:40into the United States. El Chapo was head of the notorious Sinaloa cartel,
00:46which was designated a terrorist organization back in February. And now letting their
00:52relatives in? Republicans want to talk about importing criminals? Where is the
00:59outrage on Donald Trump letting the family of the world's most dangerous cartel enter
01:04the United States? Let's hear it from our Republican friends.
01:10This is a total disgrace. Republicans should be up in arms if they want to have any
01:15credibility about being tough against drug traffickers, drug criminals, drug cartels.
01:20This isn't just being soft on crime. It's rolling out a welcome mat to El Chapo and his family and
01:30inviting it into our country.
01:32But if you're related to El Chapo, if you're related to El Chapo, Donald Trump says,
01:42come right in. Welcome to America. He'll roll out the red carpet. It's lunacy. It's a disgrace.
01:51Donald Trump has no problem deporting U.S. citizens, but he'll grant parole for the family
01:56of drug traffickers. What message does this send to other drug lords, criminals, terrorists?
02:05Where are our Republican colleagues on this? Where is the outrage from the other side of the aisle
02:11who say they want to prevent criminals from crossing our borders?
