00:00I'd like to just briefly talk a little bit about the postponement of our
00:10hearing that was supposed to be occurring at this time. This last-minute
00:14postponement is outrageous, evasive, derelict. Senators deserve full
00:21transparency and the administration has a legal obligation to inform Congress
00:27precisely about what is happening. What is the administration so afraid of? Why
00:33won't they engage with Congress on the critical details, the results of the
00:37recent strike, the scope and trajectory of this conflict, the administration's
00:41long-term strategy to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons, and, of
00:47course, the potential risks facing American citizens and our brave service
00:52members? Such obstruction undermines the very principles of accountability and
00:59oversight that guard our democracy. So, Mr. President, if the press reporting about
01:07the impact of last weekend's strikes in Iran is true, and I cannot confirm them, then
01:15that might be the reason why the administration postponed our classified
01:21briefing today at the very last minute and deprived senators of their right to
01:26know what's happening. So, I ask again, what is the administration hiding? It's time
01:32for answers. I yield the floor and thank my colleague from Delaware for her courtesy.
