Hyderabad (Telangana), May 12, 2025 (ANI): BRC MLC K Kavitha accused Congress of selling Telangana state land dedicated for industrial development. Speaking to ANI, K Kavitha said, "Telangana govt has converted the TIC (Telangana Infrastructure Cooperation) from a private limited company to a public listed company. We believe that the state govt is going to trade the 1,75,000 acres of land...it is an unfortunate move because trading or selling of the land is not the intention of this industrial cooperation. It was primarily set up to develop this land and give it to industrialists who are interested in investing in the state. Now, contrary to that, this govt is making moves to either sell the land or trade it, to generate more money and debt. This debt will hurt Telangana in the long term..."

00:00Telangana has converted the TSISC, which is the State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation,
00:06from a privately implemented company to a publicly listed company.
00:10Through this, we believe that the state government is going to trade the 1,75,000 acres of land
00:15that is available for the TSISC in Telangana.
00:19It is an unfortunate move because trading or selling of the land
00:23is not the intention of this industrial corporation.
00:25It was primarily set up to develop this land and give it to the industrialists
00:29who are interested in investing the state for the development of the state.
00:33Now, contrary to what it was set up for, this government is making move to either sell the land
00:38or to trade the land to generate more money, to generate more debt.
00:43And unfortunately, this debt will only hurt Telangana in the long term.
00:46So that is my fundamental objection.
00:48And I am demanding the Honourable Chief Minister either to roll back this decision
00:54or to tell the people of Telangana, why are you going to utilise it and how are you going to utilise it.
00:59Jai Telangana.
01:00Jai Telangana.
