00:07favorite now uh to win the win the stage and and go in the pink jersey it's absolutely amazing

00:13especially after after teamwork like this it's really incredible that the team works that hard

00:25that was the exact plan to push really hard on the climb and then make it a smaller group and then

00:31a sprint and then how much were you afraid of what on art in the finale yeah you always have to be

00:43to win when when he's in the group so you know you have to handle that with respect and

00:49and a bit of fear as well but yeah today i had the legs to finish it all for the team

01:00that's the first the leaders jersey i have in the grand tour so that's uh that's something nice

01:10is it becoming uh your trademark or your goal no it's not a big goal uh actually it was quite a

01:17surprise to get in the break today and then uh yeah it was uh the biggest goal was to take the points

01:23was the only option because the the the bunch didn't let uh so many times a really big gap

01:28between us and uh and the bunch so yeah then i achieved this goal and i'm quite happy it's your

01:34first year with uh coffee this this team only had one jersey once almost 20 years ago at the zero

01:42what do you want to give back to coffee this yeah yeah i'm really happy uh to yeah because they trust

01:47me really in the in the beginning of the season because i was really really struggling struggling

01:52with the crash and injuries so yeah i really want to i'm really motivated yesterday we had a really

01:57good uh briefing during one hour in the team to motivate every riders every part of the stuff and

02:03i think we could already see today that everyone was motivated we we really like a really good team

02:09together and uh i'm looking for out for the next days already it looks like uh chicone fortunato also

02:16wants the jersey will you defend it yeah i don't know actually i don't know uh i think my my biggest

02:22goal remains to to get a stage victory with a nice uh a nice break array then uh i will see maybe the

02:29points will come but uh for sure like in every ground two the to get uh the climbing jersey home it's

02:35important to be there in the last week merci francesco your first day at the giro d'italia and

02:40already you make the podium ceremony how good is that did you expect it no not for sure i mean

02:47i knew i had a good level but uh it's also it's also new for me uh it's the highest level uh you can

02:56have in the world so that's really special for me and uh and also my teammates believes me so

03:03yeah that's that's super good tell us about the final sprint how did you move how did you position

03:10yourself with champions like pedersen van art at the top of the climb i was i was in the wheel of van

03:16art and i knew that it would it would have been uh in the first positions uh for the sprint so i said

03:31uh yeah i just had to to sprint uh as fast as i as i could and uh yeah i got this uh full place

03:42and uh yeah it's super good what do you expect from your first hero italia and how far can you go

03:54for the time trials so yeah i will go full gas for sure but i will do the best the best uh i can
