The Elizabeth Line is a high-capacity rail service running through London and parts of

the south-east of England.

Officially opening in May 2022, it was previously known as Crossrail during its construction.

Stretching over 100 kilometres, the line connects Reading and Heathrow Airport in the west to

Shenfield and Abbey Wood in the east, running through Central Line via a new underground

section.

Key benefits include reduced travel time across the city, new longer trains with modern amenities,

improved accessibility with step-free access at all central stations.

It's fully integrated with Transport for London, accepting Oyster Cards and contactless payments,
