00:00We're here today at the 2025 Wheatbelt Futures Forum.
00:03I'm Theresa Lee from the Northern Chamber of Commerce and here we are.
00:07I'm Peter Lowen from the Wheatbelt Business Network.
00:11We have a full agricultural panel for this year, full line-up of speakers, and it's a
00:17great event.
00:18It's great having ministerial attendance this year, record attendance, it's our third
00:22year running and we're really proud of the work that's gone into it for the last six
00:25months by the two chambers and the attendance, the calibre of the audience as well is just
00:31incredible.
00:32It's going to be a great day.
00:33We're already into it and we're looking forward to seeing the rest of the day unfold and to
00:38share the outcomes of the discussions out of today's event.
00:41Some of the topics we're hearing about today are the transport logistics, the economic driving
00:47forces behind the Wheatbelt including the tourism, the growth landscape in construction and trades.
00:54So we have local architect Alexandra talking to the housing infill in local towns, in regional
00:59towns.
