InterGrain hosts ag tour for science teachers at ASTA conference

As part of ASTA’s National Science Teacher Conference in Perth, InterGrain hosted a tour for visiting educators.

00:00So today we are at Intergrain and they have kindly hosted a group of science teachers

00:06attending the National Science Teachers Conference being held in Perth this week.

00:11We selected Intergrain and also taking this tour out to our UWA research station this

00:17afternoon to showcase some of the amazing, exciting, leading work going on in the world

00:25of food and agriculture.

00:26These days are super important because they're allowing teachers to see a real life application

00:32of some of the content needed to develop and strengthen a workforce of the future for agricultural

00:40industry and we'd really like to say a big thank you to Intergrain for hosting us and the

00:47teachers are going to go away with a broader perspective of what's involved in the plant

00:55breeding world and we are very lucky to be hosting teachers from Queensland and South Australia

01:02and Victoria as well as joining our UWA teachers today so we are really super appreciative and

01:08look forward to working further with industry.
