We venture to quite a new Nursery in Broseley where staff are delighted after its first ever Ofsted review resulted in themcoming out as a Good Nursery.

00:00So we're here in Browsley at Nurturing Grow Day Nursery and we're with Manager Amanda. Hello.

00:05Hi.

00:06You've just done well in a recent inspection I understand?

00:09We have, yeah. We've just achieved good in our first off-stead inspection.

00:13So it's a brand new nursery, is it pretty much then?

00:16Yeah, we opened in January 2024.

00:18Oh, okay.

00:19So our first inspection.

00:21That's good going then, isn't it?

00:22It is. We're really pleased with the outcome. We've all worked really hard.

00:25So what's kind of special about your nursery then? Just describe kind of what you've got here.

00:30We're a local nursery, so all our children are local to the area.

00:33We do a lot in the local community. We like to get out and go to the park, to the library.

00:38We've been up on the public bus. We try to work with the parents.

00:43We try to involve the local community into what we do here.

00:47Our children all make really good progress and we've got really good links for the local schools.

00:51And how many children can you cater for here?

00:53We can have 27.

00:55Yeah, good going. Right, great stuff. We'll meet some of the kids in a bit, I'm sure, then.
