00:04Hi, I'm Sam. I'm from Poppets Nursery. I'm the owner.
00:07And how long have you been here, Sam? How long's Poppets been here?
00:09So Poppets has been around for a good over 25 years now, but personally as an owner I've been here just over 8 years.
00:17Yeah, and you've had an Ofsted.
00:19Yeah, so that's been recent.
00:21You've done alright, haven't you?
00:22Yeah, it's gone well. We did really well. The Ofsted Inspector was lovely and it was a lovely day.
00:26The children were super.
00:28It's a stressful time, I should imagine, isn't it? Anything like that you hear the word of?
00:31Yes, yes. We've been waiting a while for the phone call and when it finally came it was better than we expected.
00:37So you've got good throughout, haven't you? On pretty much everything, is that right?
00:40Yes, yes. It was. Yes, she's really nice and lots of praise and she loved the different activities we offered.
00:48We go to the care home at the top of the drive to see the residents there.
00:52Yeah.
00:53And we have a big outside area where there's lots of play equipment for the children and we go to Woodlands as well, which the children get to explore over there.
01:03Fantastic.
01:03So there's lots of outside.
01:05You haven't got your own fate, haven't you, I believe?
01:07Yes, yes. So that's coming up on Saturday, the 28th of June, this Saturday. We try and book it in just before the children leave for school. So parents can meet other parents that might be going to the same school as their children and they can try and get that relationship started and ease those nerves ready for school.
01:24Yay. And how many children do you, Kate? The four here are poppings.
01:27So we can have up to 35 on one day in here and we're pretty busy at the moment but it will quieten down a little bit when a few leave for school at the end of July, end of August time as well.
