00:00Good morning, happy Tuesday. Here's your market open update. Futures tied to Canada's main stock

00:08index edged lower on Tuesday as investors awaited the Federal Reserve's monetary policy decision.

00:13June futures on the S&P TSX index were down 0.1% as of 6.30 Eastern Time. The venture goes red

00:19and futures of the down the Nasdaq bull drop over 200 points. Into some quick headlines this morning,

00:25Calgary-based fuel and gas station company Parkland has agreed to a takeover by the American fuel

00:31company Sunoco. As part of the $9.1 billion deal, Sunoco plans to form a new publicly traded company

00:37called Suncorp. And WestJet has halted nine U.S. summer routes, including a new route that was

00:43originally slated to start next week as Canadians are choosing to fly elsewhere. Peeking into currency

00:49futures where the Canadian dollar remains at 72 cents U.S., down slightly against the euro and

00:53Bitcoin deletes 487 points. And over to commodity futures with copper skipping up just shy of 1%,

01:00gold grabs over 1%, WTI is in the green and sitting at $58 U.S. a barrel, and natural gas
