00:00Good morning happy Wednesday here's your market open update. Canada's main stock futures sat
00:08flat on Wednesday following a multi-day rally on trade optimism. June futures on the S&P TSX index
00:13were down 0.08% as of 6.24 a.m. ET. The venture is sitting flat this morning and futures of the
00:20Dow and the Nasdaq both gain over 40 points. Into a couple headlines, Prime Minister Mark
00:24Carney has unveiled his new cabinet and says his Liberal government will move quickly to
00:28counter Trump's trade war, putting economic growth at the top of the agenda. And an Ontario court has
00:34extended Huston Bay's reprieve from the hundreds of businesses it owes money to until the end of
00:38July. Let's take a look at currency futures where the Canadian dollar is down and holding at 71 cents
00:43U.S. also slipping over a quarter percent against the euro and Bitcoin regains 500 points. And
00:48finishing off with commodity futures where copper is gaining half a percent, gold losing over two
00:54percent. WTI is down to $63 U.S. a barrel and natural gas falls three and a quarter percent.
00:59That's your market open. I'm Lindsay Melchick. Have a great day.
