00:00Hey everyone, it's Andy. We got great news last night when President Trump approved individual assistance for the first set of counties that we applied for. This means that there is going to be both immediate need as well as cleaning as well as rebuilding money that's available to our families. It is a process that you have to apply for and it's an in-depth process but it does provide that funding that's going to help us not just muck out
00:29but ultimately move forward. So individual assistance has now been approved for Anderson, Butler, Carroll, Christian, Clark, Franklin, Hardin, Hopkins, Jessamine, McCracken, Mercer, Owen and Woodford counties and we will be applying to expand and add new counties just as quickly as we can but this is good news for the first 13 counties but for everyone else who sustained damage too.
00:59Now disaster survivor assistance teams are going to be out in each of these 13 counties today and we are working as fast as we can to open those disaster recovery centers in each of the counties. We believe we'll have them all open by April 30th but the first one is going to open today at 1 p.m. that's in Franklin County. It's at 827 Louisville Road.
01:24Now for everybody out there who sustained damage that's going to apply for help from FEMA. You can do it by visiting a disaster recovery center when it's open. You can go online at disasterassistance.gov or you can call the hotline 800-621-FEMA. That's 800-621-3362.
01:46Remember when you apply you're going to have to upload your documents online via the FEMA app or by visiting disasterassistance.gov. You got to make sure your damaged home is your primary residence. You can't have received assistance for the same losses from another source such as insurance and you must pick up the phone when FEMA calls. That's one of the biggest challenges that people leave their contact information and then don't pick up or respond.
02:15So really good news and we'll have more news that comes out. We'll post it on our social media and in other sources. But mainly thank you to President Trump to Secretary Noem for doing the right thing for being there for our people in their time of need. We're going to work hard to make sure that this is accessible for everyone and we'll fight for every dollar. Thank you all.
