00:00and we got to see a lot of action with the middleweights and the lightweights headline

00:02by of course Imba Kasanganai and Fabian Edwards. Kasanganai the 31 year old American the former

00:07light heavyweight champion finalist for the light heavyweight championship last year

00:11dropping down to middleweight for this fight against Edwards who was in then out you know

00:16Jordan Newman was taken over then all of a sudden Fabian Edwards was back in the 32 year old Brit

00:20of course coming off a couple losses to Ebelin in his last couple fights in Bellator now coming

00:25over to the PFL and we thought that Kasanganai was going to get the win here because he's

00:29dropping down to weight so he's gonna have that power maybe a little quicker than he was at light

00:32heavyweight much quicker starter than Edwards usually is as we saw in the Ebelin fights that was a downfall

00:37for him and it didn't really get going to like the fourth fifth rounds and it was too late by then

00:41Ebelin had that one in the in the cards for himself already not the case in this one as Edwards gets

00:46the second round TKO in this fight now Kasanganai was coming forward right away uh you know they're

00:52both guys are trying to switch positions against in the clinch trying to work against each other in

00:56the cage land some shots but I thought that Edwards probably took round one 10-9 it could

01:01have gone either way but he had to cut over Kasanganai's eye that's getting checked between

01:05the rounds by the doctor and maybe that made him a little more aggressive in round two even more so

01:09than he was already because again letting some good shots early on the feet uh but just under two

01:13minutes into the fight he's coming forward and all of a sudden Edwards hits him with a flying knee

01:18continues to attack Kasanganai drops him with the left before landing some more shots when he's on the

01:23ground ref jumps in fight is over Kasanganai now 18-6 with a loss Edwards 14-4 as he improves with

01:31the victory he'll face Josh Silvera next in the semis he gets the victory in the PFL tournament

01:36moving on to the semifinals says he felt good but the job's not done so we will see what else he can do

01:42but he seemed very confident uh very happy with the win of course talked about how some of these PFL guys

01:48aren't used to the elbows and the PFL should have brought that back a long time ago as of course we know

01:52this is the first time this year they're bringing it back in the regular season because it's just a

01:56tournament it's no longer where you have the regular season and then the playoffs where you had to worry

02:00about cuts maybe costing you more uh and losing a fighter in a playoff situation now it's just

02:06fight winner wins moves on loser loses you know maybe some of that stuff comes into play but

02:12elbows knees back into action for uh the PFL more so this year and Edwards used them well against

02:19Kasung and I wasn't the final blows wasn't the big things but definitely helped throughout the

02:23course of the fight a lightweight you had Ghazi Rabadinov versus Mark Diakisi Diakisi the 32-year-old

02:29British fighter the longtime UFC fighter against Rabadinov the 31-year-old Russian Beltor PFL fighter

02:34who was on a 10 fight win streak moves it to 11 we thought he'd get the decision victory he decided to

02:39do it even quicker gets the first round KO TKO just 32 seconds into the fight there's a feeling out

02:45early some kicks going back and forth but Rabadinov caught one of those kicks by Diakisi land the big

02:51right jumped on top and just started unloading on him as you see there the finish just one one

02:57caught kick one big punch and then a bunch to follow ref jumps in uh the opponent now Diakisi's

03:0318-8 Rabadinov is 25-4-1 and he gets to face JJ Wilson next in the semi so a great fight there

03:09a great quick win for him suffers no damage and can move on to his next opponent definitely one

03:16of the guys that we have to watch out for in this tournament as we thought before at middleweight

03:19you also had Sadabusi who we caught up with last week before the fight against Dalton Rosta see the

03:24Swedish fighter 38 years old the Swedish Denzel as we found out about his nickname and lost two of his

03:29last three come in Rosta the 29-year-old American didn't have any big names on his record coming in

03:34there even though he had a great record so we thought that maybe the veteran in sea was going to be

03:37able to get back into the winning columns and maybe get a ko-tko in this battle of big strikers

03:42didn't go that way Rosta gets the second round submission the darts choke not even an easy

03:48submission not even a rear naked or something that you know guillotine that a lot of people throw

03:51the darts choke at three minutes and 29 seconds into the second round Rosta was coming forward right

03:56away while C was trying to kind of throw the kicks out there and end up keeping him away Rosta got

04:01a takedown with it ends up in the clinch in the fence you know land some good shots of himself to

04:05the head and body late takedown by Rosta probably sealed around the first I had a 10-9 in the second

04:10round he was coming forward again catching C with over one minute left with the overhand right that

04:14stumbled him ends up you know going down and Rosta takes his back as he kind of just turtles up and

04:19protects himself he ends up in top position on the mat through a few elbows before going to side

04:23control swung all around north-south position going around the other side and eventually lands the

04:28darts choke so it's some high level submission there for Dalton Rosta see now 17-9-2 in his career

04:34Rosta 10-1 first submission victory of his career that's what makes it even more impressive when

04:39you throw a darts choke in your first submission victory but obviously he didn't feel like people

04:44put enough respect on him and he talked about it after the fight I'm the best middleweight on the

04:48planet don't ever exclude my name again it's disrespectful and it's not the truth I'm the best
