00:00ladies and gentlemen returning to our studio for the first time in 10 years oh wow and it ends up

00:31to bring him down a little bit now i didn't realize we were talking inside i never knew

00:37that you were in the military yeah yeah what branch of the service were you navy navy really

00:42you were a slobby i met with everybody because you know i grew up in a trailer park white kid broke i

00:48was like a five-star athlete to the military like dude that's the guy we got to get

00:51literally i was ben simmons coming out of high school

00:54but uh i i told you um i got a good story there i was in a presidential honor guard out in dc right

01:03so we did the parades and funerals and the one christmas eve i was in my barracks and everybody

01:10was leaving to go for christmas vacation this girl that lives in philly said uh gary what are you doing

01:16she like saw me in the hallway i go no i'm just gonna hang out like christmas the next day she

01:20goes you ain't gonna spend christmas by yourself so her and her boyfriend i rode with them to philly

01:25and i spent christmas morning with her dad who was a philly firefighter and her family and his her

01:32brother went out so the next morning it's christmas morning i had a gift under the tree i said nobody

01:37knew i was coming it was soap on a rope old spice and her brother goes hey bro i had to run out last

01:43night you gotta have one gift under the tree i was like but it was it was the best gift i used that

01:49soap on a rope there was nothing but rope like i really used it yeah man that was a good philly night

01:56how did you end up in the presidential uh honor guard well when you're in boot camp they said

02:02everyone over six foot with a 34 inch waist um come down and we met with these they had they gave

02:08this big presentation and so of course you want to sign up they sell it to you right you're on the

02:14white house lawn and you're doing these parades and funerals in arlington they're like oh that sounds

02:17cool and then i didn't know they did a background check right so you're on the white house lawn a

02:22lot right so i think there was 80 guys that signed up four of us made it wow i was 17 though i had no

02:29police record you can't have no police record okay you know there was guys that had like unpaid

02:33speeding tickets that couldn't do it they didn't know they had i had nothing i didn't have a driver's

02:37license nothing i was just like this i'm barely here man that was like your whole background you

02:42had nothing so what the hell right you mentioned ben simmons are you a basketball fan because i know

02:47i know you're a football yeah yeah i like sports all right you know i'm a bingles fan huge really

02:54yeah kevin hartstolls and you've never been what we bet on the eagles bingles every time they play

03:00right and the bingles have beat the eagles the last couple times and he's always paid me but it was

03:06it was it's a year and a half yeah come on kev he's made some money since then yeah 2k we bet

03:22the cash because now it's taking on a life of its own people like kev still owe you his money

04:06we're kind of messed up man my my one brother just just got locked up tuesday he went away for a

04:14couple years okay he was selling and using heroin fentanyl meth right just a bad and it's just that

04:21side of the family is just bad you know trailer park gotta come up with something with the depression

04:25i guess your brother that side of the family well my mom and dad aren't together oh okay i was a

04:30homecoming baby because my mom happens he was 17 and my birthday's in july i did the math

04:35august september october i was like okay my dad had a good time at the dance you know what i mean

04:41i always have a special um affection towards chevys i don't know why maybe because i was conceived in

04:49the back of one every time i see a tahoe i'm like i like them chevys man you want a 40 spoor

05:27case anymore oh my god i can't believe it's a mixed girl that's crazy gives my daughter hope

05:35right oh yeah with my wife's black yeah so i'm looking at my daughter like hey don't give up

05:40hope baby right right they got a baby right my daughter it's crazy because i got three kids

05:45and you know they're all mixed but my my boys like white girls but my daughter likes black guys

05:51but you know i'm looking at her like look if you're gonna go to the white dude go for a prince

05:55you know what i mean come on now come all the way what the hell yeah it's interesting though i'm like

06:01why both my boys what my boys like like just white now how old are these kids i want to know how old

06:06they are uh 17 right i got a son 27 a son 17 and my daughter's 15. how is that possible right

06:13how is it you look 40 man yeah not even yeah not even if i had to put my money on i would go like

06:18you're 38 years old i'm up there bro really i got your beat so don't don't don't get shy on me

06:26my mom had me a 17 and she was a grandmother of 36. it's john tabella this isn't even a show
