Peep Show: Other Worldly Noises on the Roads?

Dave & Chuck the Freak talk about a stretch of road in Macomb County, Michigan that has caused concern for some drivers because of the "other worldly" noises that they're hearing while driving there.

00:00Well, some folks in Metro Detroit have been hearing other

00:12worldly noises along a Metro Detroit roadway that is

00:16totally freaking them out. What is going on? What are they

00:20hearing? Here's the story on this one from WDIB TV.

00:25Whale speak trumpets a female opera singer.

00:30That's the way drivers are describing this stretch of road

00:33in Macomb County.

00:37Oh my.

00:40It sounds like aliens like.

00:44It's like a.

00:47Like I'm being abducted or like maybe you're taking a deep

00:51dive while driving northbound on Van Dyke. So like I'm under

00:55the ocean. Yeah.

00:55The spooky, sometimes screechy stretch of road is northbound

01:00and 53 near 18 and a half mile only in the right lane. You drove

01:05it a dozen times and think these seals singing comes pretty

01:08close.

01:11Kind of does sound like a weird seal, like a weird humming like

01:14it. Yeah, you know what the road recently repaid ever since they

01:21did road work on there. All the customers have been coming in

01:24and complaining and it sounds weird. What is it though? Do you know

01:26what it is?

01:28I think maybe you were getting abducted. Oh, I knew it.

01:34That's the question everyone is asking all over social media. People

01:38pulling over wondering if there's something wrong with the road or

01:41their cars. The first time I drove on the road with my girlfriend,

01:45she immediately started thinking that something's wrong with her car.

01:47This man they're interviewing has the world's dirtiest shirt on, by the

01:49way. Yeah, I think he had a paint incident. Oh, that's all he works in a

01:53paint store. Okay. Yeah, that makes more sense. Thank God. It is white

01:57splashes. Shouldn't have went on the news, bud. He's like, oh, the news. I

02:01just got done wrapping up a porno. I was in the money shot scene. Yeah,

02:04what do you got? Otherworldly noises, huh? They should give him a new

02:08shirt. That doesn't look right. I like her engine was blowing up. Can you

02:12imagine at night, you're hearing that noise and you're like, and I'd be

02:16scared to pull over. You don't want to pull over. MDOT acknowledging the

02:19asphalt is aggravating and say sometimes ridges or waves form. Good

02:24news. There's nothing wrong with the road. It was made well. It's fine. This

02:28happens occasionally. It's just the nature of working with asphalt that it

02:31does occasionally happen. And your car likely fine. So MDOT says only pull

02:35over if you're positive there's a problem. Otherwise, wait until the next exit.

02:39Oh, and with some wear and weight on this. These supernatural sounds

02:46should be gone by late winter or early spring in Macomb County, Erica

02:50Erickson. It's funny that they get calls like what? You know, she has to

02:56answer. Oh my God. Aliens. What? What's the problem? Macomb County is

03:03being visited by aliens. You drive in that left lane. They are all over you. They

03:07are making their noise. I'm sorry. What have you seen? I didn't really see

03:11anything, but I have heard. You heard what you believe? Driving through Macomb.

03:16If you go in that fast lane, them aliens is on your ass, man. You're going to want

03:21to send somebody out to talk to people about this. All I can say is it's

03:24otherworldly. Okay. Otherworldly noises just in one lane. That's right. You go in

03:29that fast lane. That's what they don't want us going fast, man. Nobody's talking about

03:32that. Yeah. Those aliens don't want us going fast. They're trying to slow us down. They want us to go in that

03:37right lane. Stay in that right. Don't you pass. What do you think would

03:40happen if you continued going fast? Well, I think the aliens would take issue

03:44with that. I don't want to know what happens after the noises. I think that

03:48they have issues with our speed. Okay. We'll send a crew out there then. All right.

03:58they're calling. Do you hear this? Oh my God. Send somebody quick to figure it out. Aliens

04:07everywhere. Otherworldly. You can tell it's like the road too. Yeah. Even with the recording

04:16of that. People are like, it's coming from the sky. What is it? The trumpets. It's the trumpets

04:23of the end times. In Macomb County. That's where it starts. That's in the Bible. It's right

04:30there. Macomb County, Michigan. I just think it's convenient that Chuck got jury duty right

05:02tire the first couple of times. Yeah. It's weird. You know, when you go back a couple of times,

05:06but it's crazy when they do that stuff, like engineers have done the ridges or whatever,

05:11where you drive over to a certain speed, you know, play Beethoven. Yeah.

05:14Yeah. There are roads like that. You drive it at the correct speed. It'll play a song.

05:19Yeah. Oh, I didn't know. Crazy. Yeah. Yeah. I haven't heard these music ones. I feel like

05:22I called the news. I'd be like, hi. Yeah. I'm freaking out right now. I feel like we got

06:24limit. Damn. Now you just wish that they'd, you know, less of that and more fix the potholes.

06:43too. California has 55 and it's cruise control for 55. It is 55. And hopefully the engine noise

06:51will be quiet by the time I get to it. All right. Just get to it right. So let's see

06:54how this sounds. We're about a tenth of a mile from it. Oh. Just an hour. Maybe 57. The musical

07:34all those folks in Metro Detroit, it is not aliens. You're not being taken. Yeah. At first

07:39I thought it was going to be one of those stories where there does sound like there's like stuff

07:42coming from the air. Yeah. Like the wind through the bridges or something like that. Yeah.

07:47Yeah. Yeah. And people are like, well, that's it. Yeah. It's the trumpets of heaven.

07:52Asphalt is weird. Asphalt is weird that it would do that though. You know? Yeah. I guess

08:00people are criticizing the workers, not us, the listeners. Uh, they said that the, in the

08:06same area, they did a bridge there that they call it a roller coaster. Cause it literally

08:10throws you up and down damn when you go over it, but it makes me, man. Yeah. Yeah. Very

08:18different situation there, but don't worry. It's not aliens.
