00:11They went to Dats for their first date. She said hey no awkward conversations. I've heard these before

00:18There was no lulls. He was a gentleman. So we're gonna try to get to the bottom of it right now and give Tucker a call

00:52Well hopefully you're doing all right. Uh I'll get right to it man

00:57We talk to people about dates they go on. It's called a second date update and you've heard our show before

01:01Uh, we do this every single day and there's a date we want to talk to you about

01:06That's a random thing to tell you

01:08But would it be okay if we talk to you on the air just for a couple minutes? I'll make it as quick as possible

01:16Okay, great. Uh, we want to ask you about Natalie straight up and we heard you guys went to Dats and St. Pete

01:22Uh, she felt like you guys connected really well

01:25And she thought that there was definitely going to be another date with you

01:28But has had no luck getting a hold of you since the date and is confused on what's going on

01:34But really wants to see you again. So what's going on man? Why are you not ignoring this girl? She sounds super sweet

01:39Well, I I know girls like that and like I like that's just really not going to work out that that dude's not gonna

01:47No, no, i'm okay, man

01:49What what do you mean?

01:51I mean, I really don't want to get into it because I don't want to just blast somebody's personal business

01:56But like there were just kind of some boundary issues that I saw that I guess she didn't quite understand and like

02:02I don't know. It just put up a lot of red flags and i'm i'm i'm okay

02:05Boundary issues like she asked you some questions that were off limits or what?

02:11I'll just say that she wants to know. I mean, that's you we got your phone number because she gave it to us

02:16Okay, so she's wanting to know so I mean, I don't think she minds you telling us what's up

02:21Well, her mom called three or four different times during the date checking in like it

02:28I mean, I get it safety issues or like whatever and having someone check in with you while you're on a date

02:34Especially because it was our first date but like three or four times is a bit much that just kind of

02:41I've seen i've been in relationships like that when someone's like tied to the hip with their mom like that

02:47What happens anytime we have issues? She's gonna call her mom

02:50I just don't feel like dating her and her mom at the same time and it feels like it's that kind of relationship

02:57I mean, I love my mom. My mom is the most amazing person on the planet, but

03:03We don't talk to each other four times while on a date

03:07Did you feel like her mom was kind of butting in is that is that what your feeling was?

03:11Yeah, I mean dude, she called like three or four times

03:14So it was she wasn't even present during our date. She was talking to her mom for most of our date

03:19I didn't feel like she was super present there

03:22I don't feel like she knows how to kind of like set those boundaries or maybe she just doesn't know about those boundaries or

03:27Whatever, but that's just that's not the kind of relationship i'm looking for

03:39Um, we do have natalie on the phone with us tucker and I want to bring her back on just so she can kind of she got to hear what

03:46She had to say. Um, and she obviously was wondering why you hadn't talked to her since the date natalie

03:53Um, I'm I think this is such a surprise to hear you say all this

03:59I just I can't believe that me being close with my mom. It would be a big deal like a big issue for you

04:07It's not about you being close to your mom. I'm close to my mom. I love my mom

04:11I called my mom all like at least once a week

04:13But four calls during one dinner. It was like you weren't even at dinner that that's a bit much like I mean

04:20I mean, how dare you? How dare you with a bit much? Okay, at first of all, I think it was only three

04:25I think the fourth was spam. So, uh, you know, we we we she's my best friend

04:29I tell her everything and I said all good things about you

04:33So do you need to tell her everything during our date? Well, yeah, I mean she's like my best friend

04:40I tell her everything. I mean, it's I don't think it's a bad thing that I'm close to my family

04:44Now tucker is this something that happened? Are you just upset that this happened on the date or are you?

04:49Are you not cool with the fact that she's close to their mom, you know all the time?

04:53She can be close to her mom. I just don't want want to date her and her mom. You know what I mean? Like her mom

05:00It's not like she showed up and I I don't that that's just not for me

05:05Are you so you're worried about this happening down the road, too? Yeah, because what happens when we have trouble?

05:09She's gonna call her mom what happens on the second date the third date the fourth date like

05:14Like if she's that close to her mom and her excuse is that she's just tells her mom everything

05:19Then that tells me that every date we're gonna go on. She's gonna call her mom three times

05:23And i'd like to be able to enjoy spending time with somebody that i'm close to

05:27Not spending time with someone who's distracted because they want to call their mom every time something happened

05:32Tucker what if she didn't talk to her mom on another date on your next date? What if it was just you two would you be down to hang out again?

05:38No, this has already become just like a really big red flag and I really not natalie

05:44I really hope you find what you're looking for, but that's that's just not me

05:48That that's that's a lot of issues up for me and i'm that's not something i'm really wanting to get into

05:53Maybe i've just had so many bad experiences where it's just not going to be a positive for me

05:58I think it's sad that you're looking at your past experiences with one date with me and i'm whatever

06:03I there's nothing I can do to change your mind
