00:00Well, Michelle is on the 7-15 second date update this morning, and that's because she cannot get a hold of Sam since they had a great date.

00:10Yeah, they said they talked about a lot of stuff, and they bonded over the fact that they both have kids.

00:13Right.

00:14And they talked about going out on another date, so they both...

00:18And that's post-date. They were texting us.

00:19Right. They definitely were into each other, and something must have happened. Who knows?

00:25The conversation and communication has dropped off. We don't know what's going on.

00:29So we actually were able to get Sam on the phone with us, do what we do.

00:33I want to bring him back on. He's agreed to talk to us. Sam, you there?

00:37Hey, yeah, I'm here. Can you hear me?

00:38Yeah, I can hear you fine, man. I really do appreciate you agreeing to come on the air with us.

00:42I do want to talk to you about this girl, Michelle, that you went on a date with.

00:47I know you went to Bahama Breeze with her. I know that you guys had a great time there, it seemed.

00:53You guys were talking post-date and texting back and forth, and even talking about hanging out again.

00:59And she's just really confused on why the conversation stopped, and why you haven't made plans to hang out again.

01:06Is there anything you could share with us that would kind of help us understand why?

01:11She was a lot of fun when we went on our date. We had a good time, I thought.

01:14But then a couple of days later, she sends me this text message, and it just kind of shook me.

01:20And I don't know, I don't think we're going to work out long-term.

01:24In fact, you know what? I actually have it right here still. Hold on, I'm going to pull it up.

01:30All right, so we were talking about having a little Memorial Day weekend get-together, like me, her kids, my kids, everybody.

01:37And then she sends me this text a few days later, and it says, I'm going to read it,

01:43Oh my God, I finally got rid of my kids for the weekend. Can you get rid of yours so we can hang out?

01:49And that really threw me, man.

01:52Like, I was so surprised by this, because listen, I love my kids, right?

01:56Like, they don't live with me, so every minute that I could spend with them, I adore.

02:00I wish I could spend every day with them.

02:03And I can't imagine the mindset that leads to someone saying, I got rid of my kids.

02:08Like, that's insane to me.

02:10I'm just not looking for a woman who's, you know, trying to get away from her family so she can go out and party.

02:17Because it kind of looks like that's all she really does.

02:20I looked at her Instagram, too, and it's all, like, her drinking, partying, like, I think it's a woman.

02:25When is she a mom, huh?

02:28Yeah, that's what I'm wondering.

02:29Well, I mean, let's give her an opportunity to defend herself, because, Sam, we have Michelle on the phone with us.

02:38Michelle, you heard what Sam had to say.

02:44And just so you know, I didn't say I wanted to get rid of my kids.

02:49You know, my plans changed at the last minute, and I was just kind of looking forward to an adult weekend.

02:55And, like, I have my kids more than my ex, and when I can get an adult weekend in, I want one.

03:00Like, I never get a break.

03:02So what I do, I just, like, want to be an adult, and I want to, like, live.

03:06And, like, that's just how it is.

03:09I don't know what the problem is.

03:19Like, that's not me, and I don't really want that energy around.

03:24I'm trying to, you know, when I was a kid, Memorial Day was, like, something you did with your family.

03:29We, you know, we cooked burgers on the grill and hung out, or we went to the beach as a family.

03:34I cannot imagine.

03:36I cannot dream of dumping my family off on someone else and then just going out to get wrecked.

03:46I don't know what you think I am, but, like, I love my kids the most.

03:50But I just, sometimes I need a break, and when I do, I just want to have a good time and, like, let loose.

03:56And just, like, I don't know, moms need a break, too.

03:59And I'm not, like, doing anything horrible with my kids.

04:02My parents watch them, and they have fun there.

04:04I'm sorry if I just want to have fun.

04:06Like, I don't know what the issue is.

04:09I'm not suggesting that you don't love your kids.

04:11I'm sure you do.

04:12It's just, I don't know.

04:14I want a woman who's going to blow off her friends to spend time with her kids, not the other way around.

04:20I mean, I get what you're saying, but, like, honestly, if I'm going to be a good mom, I need a break sometimes.

04:26And I need to go do my thing so I can recharge my battery so I can be great for my kids.

04:31You know, maybe.

04:32But we were talking about spending Memorial Day weekend with the kids and stuff, and then suddenly you got rid of them.

04:37And, I mean, you're talking a lot about needing a break, but I look at your Instagram.

04:41It looks like you're having a lot of fun.

04:43I'm not saying I got rid of them for Memorial Day.

04:45My plans changed.

04:46I was going to spend it with them, but the plans changed, and now I'm not.
