00:00Trying to help out Chris this morning.
00:01I don't know if he's shy or keeping something from us.
00:04Do you know what I'm saying?
00:05It could be both.
00:06Yeah, I was a little, I was kind of like, uh, are you there?
00:09Yeah.
00:10But, you know, he's trying to figure out why Jessica's not getting back to him.
00:13Yeah, he said they just went to dinner at that, um, it's a Cocopelli's.
00:17Okay.
00:18And he said that they had, the conversation was good.
00:21He walked her to her car, but they kind of talked about going out on a second date, he said.
00:26But now he's reached out, um, suggested they go to the beach and he has heard nothing.
00:31Well, Jessica's been on hold.
00:32She has heard everything you just said and what I said.
00:34Uh, so she knows what we know.
00:36Let's bring her back on though.
00:37Hey, Jessica, you there?
00:39Yeah.
00:39Hey, good morning.
00:40Hey, I appreciate you hanging on for us.
00:42Uh, you just heard us kind of recap the date, but we want to know why there's not going to be a second date because apparently he's been trying to get ahold of you.
00:48Um, and he felt things went well.
00:50Is there a reason that you've kind of pulled back and not answered any of his texts or anything like that?
00:54Uh, yeah, I mean, there's definitely not going to be a second date.
00:58Um, he does not take marriage seriously and therefore what is the point of me going on another date with him?
01:08Uh-oh.
01:08So, uh, has he been divorced or something?
01:11No, I think worse actually.
01:14So he, I mean, we did have a good time.
01:16I was really enjoying myself until this, but yeah, I mean, to make a long story short, he basically told me he has been in a relationship with a married woman.
01:24Oh, boy.
01:26I mean, he said they're no longer seeing each other.
01:29Oh, okay.
01:30That would be a lot to hear, obviously, on a first date.
01:32How did this even come up?
01:34I can't even remember.
01:35It was just like we were talking about like exes and dating and then he just brought it up like as if it was nothing.
01:42So what did you say when he brought that up?
01:45I mean, you know, obviously we're on a date.
01:47I wasn't trying to make it like too awkward, but it does not sit well with me.
01:50That is not somebody I want to be with.
01:53Well, was he remorseful?
01:54I mean, he seemed remorseful, but he was just way too casual about it and it's just not for me.
02:00All right.
02:00Okay.
02:00Well, that is obviously a huge thing and a bombshell for sure.
02:05We actually have Chris on the phone with us, Jessica.
02:07I want to bring him back on.
02:08Chris, you there?
02:09Yeah.
02:10You kind of have to understand, dude.
02:12I mean, that's a pretty big thing to say to someone on a first date and quite the turnoff, don't you think?
02:17Well, I mean, I brought it up sort of like vulnerably.
02:21I wasn't proud of it.
02:23It's just something that happened and we were, you know, sharing information about each other.
02:28And I just thought I'd, you know, kind of, you know, it makes it seem less stiff the whole date.
02:35I wasn't proud of it.
02:36I was just bringing it up because it happened and I realized it wasn't a good thing, you know, and broke it off.
02:44How long ago did you have you, did you break it off with this married woman?
02:50About a year.
02:52No, it was not a year ago.
02:54It was definitely more recent than that based on what you said.
02:57You said you dated her for a year, but I don't want to be with somebody who would not only condone this behavior, but be a part of it.
03:05So it's just, it's such a no for me.
03:07It's not even funny.
03:09Well, I mean, I thought you judged me a little more holistically.
03:14What does that mean?
03:16Like not take one small aspect of.
03:20It's not one small action.
03:22It's like a huge indicator of who you are as a person.
03:26That's it.
03:26Politely, like what I'm supposed to like, be like, oh, wow, he's tall.
03:30That makes it better.
03:32Yeah.
03:32And this is all coming from a woman who's divorced, right?
03:35Oh.
03:36Well, at least I tried the ethical way.
03:40So if that's the dig you're going to make, I mean, sure.
03:44So it's all, it's all about, I guess, it's not about the result.
03:47It's just about the intention.
03:49That doesn't make sense.
03:51Yeah.
03:52Not, yeah.
03:52Chris, I, I, I think, you know, where Jessica's coming from.
03:56I think this is just a bombshell for her.
03:57And, you know, when you're talking about a relationship and then you talk about your past
04:01relationships, she's going to kind of judge you on that.
04:04I'm not saying that that should be the end all be all for you.
04:07But for Jessica, that is.
04:08I mean, props for you for telling the truth.
04:11But there's, there's some women that, yeah, probably aren't going to.
04:14Kind of the once a cheater, always a cheater is going to be in her mind.
04:17Yep.
04:17And that's what's happening.
04:18So I'm glad we got you an answer so you can, you know, stop wondering what happened to
04:23her.
04:23And Jessica, thank you for your time this morning and you guys take care.
04:27Okay.
04:28Yeah.
04:29Thanks so much.
04:30All right, guys.
04:30Have a good weekend.
04:31A couple of things that Chris said, just, I don't know if I'm dumb, but I felt dumb.
04:35Like there was a lot of, there was some logic there that was not adding up.
04:38I was watching you when he was saying these phrases and you literally went, what?
04:44It was one of these looks where you kind of looked off into the wall and you're like,
04:47what just happened?
04:48Yeah.
04:48But how many times, Lana, do we talk about, you know, you said, Hey, you're honest, but
04:52for that to come up, I know sometimes too, too much honesty, right?
04:58I know.
04:59I have a feeling though.
05:00Maybe she was talking about her divorce and then that probably how that led into that.
05:05But okay.
05:06Let's just say he was remorseful.
05:07Okay.
05:08Let's just say he was very remorseful.
05:09He made a mistake.
05:10Is this a deal breaker for you?
05:11That's what I want to know.
05:12800-992-1099.
