00:05Here's the deal.

00:06A couple of years ago, we were in this country.

00:09I had a rental car.

00:12And this is kind of a trap.

00:14Because it turns out that I apparently, not once but twice within an hour,

00:20I got two traffic infractions.

00:23Not for speeding, not for reckless driving.

00:26I didn't run over any pedestrians.

00:28Wrong side of the street.

00:29Nope, not the wrong side of the street.

00:31It turns out that in this particular country, that I drove through a local-only zone.

00:38So it's designated as a local-vehicle-only zone.

00:42And I guess cars are designated by certain license plates or stickers.

00:46That's weird.

00:46So listen to this.

00:47This happened in 2019.

00:50Happened in August of 2019.

00:52So a year later, during the beginning of the pandemic,

00:58I get letters saying that I've been busted for this infraction.

01:05They wanted like 200 euros for each violation.

01:12200 euros.

01:13So we're talking like 500 bucks almost for me to pay these things.

01:17And then administrative costs and this and that.

01:19And I'm like, what the heck is this?

01:21So I didn't pay.

01:22Today, I happened to ask people that I know from this country.

01:27I know former citizens of this country.

01:30They said, ah, no, you don't pay this.

01:31Ah, forget it.

01:32Yeah, it sounds like you're being extorted.

01:33Forget it.

01:34Don't pay this.

01:34Wait, let me try to figure out that accent.

01:37No.

01:37So they said, no, don't pay.

01:40And well, I've gotten more letters.

01:42And then believe it or not, we're getting ready to leave tomorrow.

01:45And you got another letter.

01:46I got a letter two days ago.

01:48They know you're coming.

01:49From the city attorney.

01:52You're screwed, man.

01:53Are you going to the same city?

01:57Yes.

01:57Well, hold on.

01:58For a portion, we're going to be going through this city for like one day.

02:04Now, I don't want to mention the country because I don't want.

02:07I will totally tip them off.

02:09I don't want anyone to tip them off.

02:11But the question is, am I wanted when I enter with my passport?

02:16Is my passport going to scan and have all kinds of bells and whistles going off?

02:24It's like, catch me if you can.

02:26This country has tracked you down to your house in America and has been mailing you numerous letters.

02:32They're going to flag you when your passport gets scanned.

02:34That's the question.

02:35Am I going to be arrested on the spot?

02:38So when we enter this foreign country, it's going to be an overnight flight.

02:43We're going to leave tomorrow.

02:44We'll get there on Saturday morning.

02:46Am I going to be flagged and arrested at the border?

02:49Am I going to end up in a foreign prison?

02:51You're going to be detained.

02:52Am I going to be detained?

02:53I mean, is anything going to happen here?

02:56Am I about to have an international incident where I'm arrested or something to that effect?

03:02While you function surprisingly well outside of the prison environment, I don't think you're built for international jail.
