00:18and Texas rappers, everything Texas. And let me tell you why. So it all happened after Mo3 died,

00:25may he rest in peace. His psychic is the same psychic I go to. And she went viral for like

00:31predicting like, you know, his his murderer and everything. So I started reading comments.

00:35Then I was on Sean Cotton's blog. And then all of a sudden, I became obsessed with all the Texas

00:40rappers. And I was in your business. And I don't even live out there. So welcome.

00:48Like we kind of know each other because I know about Texas. I feel like I kind of know you a

00:51little bit. Now, where are you from in Dallas in the Texas area? I'm from DeSoto. It's about

00:5710 minutes outside of downtown Dallas. Okay. So that's where I grew up. Is it kind of near

01:02like Oak Cliff area? It's maybe a good eight minutes from Oak Cliff. Okay. Everything is

01:08pretty much close in Dallas though. That's what's up. So how long have you been

01:11rapping? Um, this summer will make it four years. It'll be my fourth year this summer.

01:17So you've been like putting out mixtapes, been rapping in Texas, and then Bust It came

01:24out. And that was like your first this is like your first viral song. Yeah. Yeah. How

01:29did you come up with that? Um, it was just another day in the studio. Shout out to Sergeant

01:34J who produced the record. And he was just going through beats like he does any other day.

01:39But the step I mean, the Nelly sample is what caught me. And I thought it was super dope.

01:44So I had him stop there. Right. I was like, let's see what we can do with this. So after

01:49that, you know, it was history. So did you have to send the song to Nelly to see if he

01:54liked it before you put it out? We had to have him clear the sample. So he had to listen

02:00to it. Right. Um, he thought it was super dope. He liked it. And even now, um, he's done

02:05interviews where he's mentioned how he likes the song and everything like that. So yeah, he

02:09did have to hear it before it came out. Yeah. I saw that interview. He was like, listen,

02:13keep doing the Tik Tok challenges. Keep running it up because I'm making money. Shouts out to

02:17Erica Banks. So that's what's up. Now, did you come up with the Busted Challenge? Who

02:21actually came up with that? Actually, um, it was a TikToker. Her name is Erica too, which

02:27is ironic. And she came up with the challenge. People caught on to it. She also has a big

02:32following. And after she did the challenge, it was up. So big shout out to Erica. Did you

02:37break her off some money for the song? I didn't break her off any money for the song. No, no,

02:43but I did give her a big thank you on my flat. I mean, on my platform. No, that's what's up. Now

02:48out of all of the Busted Challenges, who do you think did the best celebrity wise? You tell me who

02:54you thought did and I'll tell you mine. I think Ruby Rose did the best. She's my favorite out of

03:00everybody. I love Ruby Rose, but I liked Chloe's Chloe Bailey's. Okay. Chloe was hot

03:06too. Yes. Chloe was hot. It was a lot of girls who probably shouldn't have did it. Like I

03:11didn't do it. Cause I know like mine would be, you know, no, but Chloe Bailey's, I really

03:17did like hers a lot. So Ruby Rose, I don't really remember hers, but I'm gonna have to

03:21go back and like, look it up. Yeah. Go check it out. Go check it out. Now I see you got your

03:25new song to that. That's another a TikTok challenge. How is that one doing? That one

03:31is doing great as well. That one was actually put together by me. I mean, it's different

03:35ones on there where people are, you know, putting their own spin on it or doing their own thing

03:39literally. But I decided this time I was going to try to get TikTok savvy and come up with

03:45a cute little dance. So we got it going. I like it. That's another one I tried to do, but

03:49I was like, yeah, I don't look right. I'm not going to upload it. It's all good. I get

03:53it. Now what's next for you? Like you got, um, you drop in the album. Like what's next?

03:59What's next for Ms. Erica Banks? So we're going to get behind Tooth That. That'll be

04:03the next single as we, um, just talked about. And we're just going to put that same momentum

04:07behind Tooth That and hopefully it can just do what Busty did or better. We just want platinum

04:13records at the end of the day. So we're just going to continue putting out hits. So what

04:17was it like? Like, I, I remember you, uh, wrote a comment or you had spoke on this and

04:23I was like, she's right. It's like everybody, it seemed like everybody on the blogs and like

04:28the shade room were against you. But then when Busty came out, they was like all on board.

04:34So it's like the internet be forgetting, like they're hot and cold. Like one minute they don't

04:38like you. Then all of a sudden you that chick, like, how was it like to see, you know, um, the

04:43support come so fast after that came out? It's crazy. Um, it's very much expected. It's

04:50the internet. People can't make up their mind on the internet and they don't know what they

04:54want. So I just learned to just accept that and just know that some days they not going

04:58to like me and other days they're going to love me. So it's the new norm, you know, but

05:02to see it happening, it's just like crazy. Is it anybody you want to work with that you

05:07haven't worked with yet? Oh yeah. Um, I always say Nicki Minaj. She's always the first

05:12person I mentioned. Um, Missy Elliott, love Missy Elliott and future. So those will be

05:17my top three. So when that's going to happen, girl, I know they calling you, you got hopefully

05:21tomorrow. All right. So you've been in Florida last night. You were in Orlando. How was that?

05:28It was lit. It was lit. The few times I've came out here, it's been lit. I've been to, um,

05:33Orlando. I've been to Miami. I've been to Fort Lauderdale tomorrow. We're in Jacksonville.

05:38So I've been all over Florida. It's lit. Now has the money slowed down for you due to

05:43the pandemic or are you still doing shows, still out here trapping? Actually, um, I'm

05:49trapping it out. Money has sped up actually. Um, the places I've been to, they haven't been

05:55closed. Like Atlanta isn't closed. Um, Dallas isn't closed. Florida isn't closed. So we just

06:01been getting booked into places that are not closed, which is great because it's actually

06:05a lot more places than I thought that are open. So facts. Now, when I talked to money

06:10bag, yo, he always said like, it was always good to have other hustles and other sources

06:14of income. And he got like his money bag runs, you know, he's doing real estate. Is it anything

06:19that you're doing besides music to bring in money right now? Or are you just strictly focusing

06:23on the music? Right now I'm just strictly focusing on the music. I'm still brand new. Um, I do

06:28have merch though that I have on my website. Now I am partnership with Akira. I'm not sure

06:33if you're familiar with them, but I am partnering with them. So outside of that though, I'm just

06:37focusing on music and as we go and continue to work, we'll definitely start having other

06:43avenues. Now, what did you do before you wrapped? Like what were you doing in Dallas?

06:47I was going to school for nursing. I was in college. I am loving that a lot of the girls

06:53rapping now are in school getting degrees or were in school. So that's what's up. Is

06:58that something you would want to pursue? Like still? No. Right. I'm out of it. When

07:04rap worked, I was out of it. Now I wanted to be a nurse too. Like I was actually supposed

07:10to be a nurse. I'm a Haitian girl and a lot of Haitian girls are nurses. So like, that's

07:13what like my family wanted me to do. Right. But I'm a crybaby. Like I don't want to see

07:17people getting sick and stuff. So yeah. Yeah. I always think about that. Like, am I going

07:22to go back and do that? But nah. Radio and entertainment is too much fun. That's how I

07:26feel about music. That's exactly how I feel. Ruby Rose was your favorite Busted Challenge.

07:32I like Chloe. Did you see Tamron Hall do hers from the talk show? Wait. Does she have short

07:39hair? She does. She has short hair. Okay. My mom showed me that one. I think my mom is
