The show talks about how the morning started off pretty wild for Andy when he was thrust into helping out a police officer who was at the station for a reported break-in attempt.

00:00oh by the way i guess we should mention chuck the freak is off today

00:08he's got a migraine so uh hopefully he'll be back with us tomorrow um we had some uh hubbub

00:15happening early with you and either someone tried to break into the building the radio station here

00:19what's happening it was the dialer's moment yeah it was it really was well i uh i'm walking around

00:28the morning just like like i try not to talk to anybody so i walk through the hub i'm on my way

00:34to have my first delicious morning cigarette and uh i get stopped by people at the other station

00:39they're talking to a cop and they're like look at me and i'm like oh i know where i was last night

00:44you thought the cop was there for you yeah i'm like well they did you can't give me copper let me

00:49crunch some numbers here nope i'm not in trouble so then uh they were like kind of like abandoned

00:55me with the cop and he's like yeah somebody tried to break in you know anything about that

00:58i'm like no i uh i sure don't just uh here to make the dick jokes or whatever

01:04you know like uh and he's like well do you know where the alarm would have would have come from

01:10i'm like i know he probably thinks i'm crazy too because i'm like i know there's lasers

01:15i know there's lasers out there on the yard and maybe a rabbit or a skunk set them off or something

01:23and he called we do have laser beams right we do have security laser beams i don't think he

01:29believes me the sign says at least he's like lasers and i'm like yeah lasers out there i know

01:34that might have set the thing off and then he goes uh he's like well let me call into dispatch and

01:40see where the alarm came from he's like oh he's like is there he's like it came from the front door

01:44is there a front door i'll show you right where that is let's go come on boys in blue always

01:49want to help the boys in blue you just remember me if i'm ever uh green bean green bean helped you

01:54out if i'm ever on the other side of this all right like radio csi over there yeah so then i go with

01:59him to the front door and i'm thinking like what if somebody's here and then i'm like on the front

02:06lines all of a sudden just because i am too awkward to walk away from a conversation

02:11so i go out there he's like i'm like checking with him i'm like yeah look coast is clear

02:18we're all good here guys it's like uh from out of clues i see here nobody's out here you know like

02:29and then i walked him back and he's like you know he's a real nice guy or whatever i'm like well thanks

02:34what would you have done if there was someone threatening out there i mean i would have

02:39probably been like give him whatever he wants give him whatever he needs take the boards take

02:47the computers doing like a free radio station t-shirt i'll show you where the tickets are man

02:52you want to see what's the tickets i'm the last guy you want at a gun at a like held at gunpoint

02:58oh my god that was your big break though officer green bean yeah officer green bean was on the case

03:03today and i was just like wow it's way early for this to start your day like that it was an odd

03:09thing so just to clarify we do have what they tell us are security laser beams yeah right to protect

03:16the perimeter of the property because we're in a little bit of a shady neighborhood here you know

03:21anything can happen and has we've seen swat around running past us with ar-15 gigantic rifles

03:27helicopters um but do is it just like the well i guess we shouldn't give away i have no idea yeah

03:34laser beams are security secrets anything about it and that's when i think the cop was like i might

03:39not be with the right guy here like i don't think he's a manager or anything i'm like actually i kind

03:46of him but yeah i was like lasers i kept going off about the goddamn laser i'm sure they thought

03:51you were insane see the video replay security cameras well that's what i was like he's escorting

03:58the officer around i didn't realize chuck wasn't here so i'm like man i bet lisa and chuck are in

04:02the studio right now watching me walk around with his officer and they're like oh this is the big

04:06this is when they take andy from us andy might not be here today because it looks like he's having

04:11a little talk with the boys in blue uh someone said you're the new fred from scooby-doo yeah i just

04:18need that stupid neckerchief it's good that the other people at the other radio station just let you

04:23handle it they were like here you go here and he i was like seriously guys seriously that's like the

04:30radio station where you just pass the buck yeah yeah every time you're into like a sticky situation

04:34you just pass it on to somebody else and i got shouted at across the hub they were like hey you

04:38know i think about boot doop see ya hey state cop how are we yeah let's go find a vagrant that's

04:49tried to break into the building that'll be fun let's do that one said they like how you were

04:53deputized somewhere in the middle there i know i felt like i was i need like a little badge now

04:57well we're safe now lucky yeah we're safe because of you andy good to know and also maybe they

05:03should look into why people are trying to break into the building i have a theory i have a theory

05:07you do maybe somebody got in the courtyard because they needed to use the restroom and we have that

05:11port-a-potty still here from that event we had i don't think anybody would somebody wanted to use

05:16the port-a-potty you think someone broke in to use a port-a-potty yeah maybe they're like i'm gonna

05:20use that port-a-potty right there that's an emergency situation go in there i don't know it's been

05:24there for a while they say it's haunted the haunted port-a-potty i'm just pooping in the dirt
