01:19in the desert oh then go through this uh here's the story from fox 10 in phoenix about how this

01:25went wrong it was the rescue scene around the world wow what a sight today

01:31happened right through the ballot yeah people cannot stop talking about this

01:34a woman in her 70s fell on the trail the pipes were made and needed a chopper rescue so phoenix fire

01:40they were called a machine for transport but things did not go as planned in the basket that

01:44started spinning and spinning out of control today fox 10's jennifer martinez is live to break this all

01:53down did they answer why this happened yeah they did they say that it's very unusual but it does happen

02:02and the woman is 74 years old and as you're going to see just spinning and spinning as she's airlifted to safety

02:10it's very rare i mean it was going as fast as the rotors

02:29it is it's like a vomit comet g-force things pilots go in oh yeah

02:34that's the worst carnival ride ever oh my god i'm losing god attention

02:38the basket was in after falling spinning out of control what do you do sometimes when we bring the

02:46helicopter up uh from the ground uh it will start to spin so we have a a line attached to the basket

02:54to help prevent that uh today it didn't um the basket started to spin rescue crews attempted procedures to

03:01get it under control they have to drop it back down it actually does start to stop so and then we

03:06slowly brought it back up it gets into the same down wash from the aircraft so what happened when

03:11the basket is coming up um down towards the ground it's not as subject to as much to the to the rotor

03:22wash of the of the helicopter that's coming down through the road my god but as the basket comes up

03:26and it nears the helicopter and the mascot will start to interact and that's when it tends to spin

03:35you guys at the end there she was flipping ass like her head over ass oh yeah yeah she wasn't

03:39going around sideways then she was going over forward she's like put me down blaze you're not helping

03:45you're not helping this doesn't help me this isn't a help are you kidding me she was out cold

06:06start to go last over tea kettle yet yeah even if things go perfectly and you you're hoisted up

06:11it's still can you imagine being there yeah looking at a helicopter how scary that would be

06:17oh yeah of course and then you start spinning out of control this isn't ideal to begin with

06:21and then the spins i tell you you would just assume that's it right you're gonna break free

06:26and die because you think something terrible has happened right of course because you can't you're

06:31spinning so fast you can't tell what's really happy you don't know the helicopter is just

06:37stationary you think it's gone crazy and you're dying yeah you would think you're dying could have

06:42a heart attack from fear and these guys are like yeah yeah sometimes people spin around don't be a

06:48bitch about it yeah we told a lady to calm down
