00:09watching it like this is going to go away because my kids grew up with it still being on tv every

00:14year right like frosty and the grinch and rudolph like they they were still watching network

00:20television and watching it on tv and it was like a big deal it was like an event but that's pretty

00:26much done now you know apple bought peanuts it's not airing on network television anymore right some

00:31of the other stuff still is but i think you know younger kids now they don't watch network television

00:36for one and it's not the same thing like us where we gathered around the tv to watch santa claus is

00:42coming to town do you think it'll just be different though in in the way that the stuff available to

00:49stream i guess they've stood the test of time this long but someone like you watch it with your kids

00:53i don't even know what do they know what hair master master burger like today you know what i

00:57mean you know what but the grinch is like timeless like so many people love the grinch yeah a lot of

01:10aired 51 years ago today in 1969 so here's a couple of yes or bs for you um what's older the song or the

01:19tv special did they make the movie about the song i guess that's my whole thing i'm assuming that the

01:26song was around yeah me too and that they made the movie to fit the song you're right okay the animated

01:32classic was based on the song by uh james's favorite gene autry excuse me who's my favorite dave

03:27grinch but she was much older and apparently she sounded too rough and tough like hey frosty hey

05:02winter no wonder james loves it i know i'm always wearing shorts yeah it was frosty and in olden times

05:09they hadn't invented pants yeah they didn't have pants yet could also be why i'm always longingly

05:15hoping for my snowman to come to life and dance with me and go sledding and people are confused

05:20they're saying you guys cindy loohoo is the lead singer of the pretty reckless turned out to be a

05:24smoke show no no that's a different cindy loohoo that's that's that's the one cindy loohoo from

05:28the live action grinch with jim carrey that's a generation i'm a bit older than i'm 87 years old

05:34we're talking about the girl who did the voice in the 1969 frosty the snowman i am actually dead right

05:40now you probably are her name is uh june foray oh she also did rocky the flying squirrel yeah i've

05:46been dead for a long time oh she's only been dead three years well she was she's 100 she did

05:58guy i did i don't even remember jokey smurf he's not i got a million jokes oh yeah jokey smurf was

06:05like the one that uh he was always joking oh his laugh they have a laugh yeah he was like

06:11oh you gotta stop smoking june i gotta take some medicine what this is very funny jokey

06:25it sure was oh jokey jokey was pretty much a unabomber type guy he's blowing the smurfs up

06:39yeah he's just we're blowing up smurfs that's insane i never realized that

06:44i'm just jokey that's all i guarantee you'll get a big bang out of it oh my god you're a terrorist

06:51he's just blowing up all the smurfs wake up so i can make you explode now june we want you to

06:59play this character he's a smurf he's uh likes to joke around and blow people to smithereens

07:09i just can't believe i never realized jokey was a terrorist i never made that connection either

07:16it's like he probably had a manifesto and everything yeah he's definitely a unabomber

07:20so there you go there's a little history of frosty more than you ever needed to know
