Hannah successfully campaigns for a new crossing on Heaton Moor.

00:00A ten-year-old school girl named Hannah has successfully campaigned for a new crossing to be built on Heaton Moor.

00:07I sent a letter for the crossing and I explained the reasons why I wanted it.

00:14Sometimes you'll have to go to the crossings all the way down there and then it'll make me late for school.

00:19With the traffic lights it's really easy to cross. I probably use it every day.

00:24The letter originally went to the MP from Hannah from St Thomas and she was asking about getting a safe crossing point for this road.

00:33So we've got a programme of works going on around various schools to make them safer.

00:38We've also got walk cycle routes going through various areas so that pupils and members of the public will have access to good walk cycle routes.

00:48And we're constantly looking at refreshing and improving the walk cycle infrastructure in Stockport.
