Bristol is a very busy city with loads of things to do. And as the warmer weather has started there are many fun things locals can join in with. From street parties to outdoor cinemas, from bars and restaurants to outdoor theatre.

00:00There is always something exciting to do in the city of Bristol, and this week is no different.
00:07With the start of the warmer weather, there is lots locals can do to get out and make the most of it.
00:13But for those who prefer the indoors, Romeo and Juliet is at the Bristol Old Vic.
00:19Yes, the Bristol Old Vic is showing the classic play and the original score with a twist, rap and R&B.
00:27The show is intense and full of the love and loafing of the classic tragedy,
00:32where two young lovers are torn apart due to their family's joint hatred.
00:37But this classic tale is intertwined with rap, allowing new elements to the classic tale.
00:43Ah, that sounds very exciting.
00:46And with Easter around the corner, rumour has it there are many Easter egg sightings and hunts and trails happening in the local area.
00:56Adriana, tell me more about that.
00:58Yes, that is right. Easter is only a couple of weeks away, and so is the traditional egg hunt.
01:04Multiple venues across Bristol will organise their own Easter egg hunts and trails this year,
01:10with some even having prizes to be won.
01:13Some of the events include Easter Lego egg hunt across Gloucester Road from April 5th to 21st,
01:20a colourful egg trail at Ikea from April 7th to 21st,
01:25and a giant Easter stones hunt at Christchurch in Hanham on April 19th.
01:31Ah, that sounds delicious and a really fun way to get involved in the Easter celebrations.
01:37All right, let's move on to something to enjoy with the nice weather then.
01:42So Weston Bar Arboretum is hosting a family trail. Tell me more.
01:47The trails allow locals to become a biodiversity detective and search for as many living things in nature as you can
01:55as you follow along Weston Barrett, the National Arboretum's family spring trail.
02:01The trail has many challenges along the way for all to enjoy.
02:06Ah, that sounds like a lovely one to get outside and enjoy the Weston Bar Arboretum sculptures.
02:13Let's move on to pubs then. What pubs can we visit on our spring walks?
02:18Yes, we're lucky to have a number of country pubs in the lovely villages that surround Bristol.
02:24According to locals, the best pubs include the Angel Inn in Long Ashton,
02:28Hunter's Lodge in Pretty, Swarm in Toggington, and The Crown in Churchill.
02:35Ah, that's lovely. Bristol is full of wonderful pubs to visit, whether it's just for a drink or food.
02:42And Bristol is home to around 450 pubs, from larger chained venues to smaller independent and family-run businesses.
